My these Kerry supporters certainly are fragile. I like this sentence from the article.
"many residents hurt themselves by so anxiously expecting the Massachusetts senator to win – especially those who maintained unrealistic recount hopes after their candidate’s concession."
This PEST syndrome has spread to states other then Florida. One of my co-workers told me that her mother-in-law had to placed on an anti-anxiety drug because she was so upset about the election. |

If the mother-in-law mentioned is elderly, and received some of those "Bush will do away with your SS check" phone calls, no wonder she's anxious...
The scare tactics used against Sr. Citizens were beneath contempt....

Hi my name is ...........Jimmy
HI JIMMY
My name is Jimmy, .......and I, I, voted for,..... John, K, K, Kerry.
I started small. I mean who really had heard of John Kerry before the primaries. And then he won Iowa. I noticed. There really wasn't much around then but I got a sip. A sip of the ,.....koolaide. It wasn't bad, a little hard to swallow at first, but it wasn't bad. I kind of made me want more. Then I heard his message. He was a war hero, bunch of medals, served in Vietnam. He said something about learning lessons in war as a young man. Wow. We never really had a real hero on the left before. I took my first real drink of the kool-aid. Suddenly, it made John Kerry look dynamic, popular, charismatic, and electable. I took another drink of the kool-aid and it all came really clear. He's not Bush is he. Yeah that's it. Then came the convention. The kool-aid flowed like oil through Halliburtin's pipelines to Dick Cheney's pockets. When I heard people like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Teddy Kennedy, Michael Moore, and the MSM all liked him. I took another drink. Man I believed it. The kool-aid, John Kerry, and me. Mr. popular, Mr. President elect John Kerry. Then came the Swift boats for Bush. That's what the MSM called them.
They were bankrolled by a couple of rich republicans. Nobody believed them, but something happened. The kool-aid wasn't working like before. I had to drink more. I was trying to find that first high but it wasn't there. More and more kool-aid and then I never noticed how I began my total slip from reality. I mean he won the debates didn't he? He was a war hero, I even began to see real leadership and a record in the senate that was immpeccable. He even got a week named for world population. That would send a strong message to terrorists. And the polls. Man daily polls. Showing John in the lead. It was easy to believe . The kool-aid didn't lie, and niether did John Kerry, or the MSM. Then came election day. Neck and neck they said. When the first exit polls came in, oh baby it's real another drink of kool-aid and there it was...........That first high. I knew the kool-aid wouldn't let me down. Its in the bag. President Kerry, world respect, Hillary on the court, Barbara Strisand NEA director. Man I never noticed how the kool-aid changed your perspective. It was a great high
Then when the polls closed and the actual results started coming in.............The kool-aid? Where did I leave my kool-aid? Where was John? Dan Rather was babbling like an old kool-aid burnout. That's when I noticed it. i was coming down and even more kool-aid wouldn't stop the shakes, the desparation, and the dispair. Dan Rather was trying to squeeze more votes out of Ohio like a young boy squeezing farts out of a toad frog with both hands. .............................Then came reality
It was all a dream wasn't it. That's what the kool-aid did to me. So real but when you try to grab it, poof it's gone.
Anyway. It's been about 1 week since my last drink .

This is great.
Now whenever the moonbats start squalling about something, we can just look at them very sympathetically and say "Oh my, you must be suffering from PEST syndrome. Drink a big steaming mug of SHUT THE HELL UP and call me in the morning".
This really IS getting ludicrous. And these people wanted to run the country? Lord deliver us...
...oh wait.....He did! |

A southern-state Governor turned President, who didn't serve in Vietnam, elected by a minority, helped by a third-party candidate, does nothing about the problems facing the nation, and skates to victory over an experienced Senator and decorated war hero, without a recount.
Been there, done that. Clinton over Dole in 1996. Guess what? We lost that election, endured four more years and found a better candidate next time.
Now it's THEIR turn!
Oh, by the way, you only get recounts when the election is CLOSE! _________________ The traitor will crater! |

Now now now, let's get the nomenclature correct. It's a SYNDROME, say it again SYNDROME.....not a disease. It's not a disease because it is transmitted by way of the stupid gland, which is right next to the hole in a liberal's head. You know, the hole where all the brains leaked out. |

There was no threat of loss of life for themselves or others nor was loss of life observed by them. This is not trauma, period. If there was any sense of loss of self, then it is entirely due to a pre-existing Narcissistic Personality Disorder condition, just like their hero.
At best, it is normal grief that is now being reified into pathology by clinicians who are as much lost in their way as their patients. _________________ US Army Security Agency

Hey Sam,
Would it cure the post election whine??
Mary Ann
****************************
My friend sent this too me today!! HA!
I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me
and we all could use more calm in our lives.
By following the simple advice I heard on a Dr. Phil show, I have finally found inner peace.
Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."
So I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, so,
before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot,
a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos,
the remainder of
both Prozac and Valium prescriptions,
the rest of the cheesecake, some saltines
and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel.
Please pass this on to those you feel are in need of inner peace.
Blessings. |

A Kerry supporter goes to the psychiatrist. Got on the couch and spilled his guts out. The therapist listened for an hour. The client finally said, "Well doc, what do you think my problem is?"
"You have low self-esteem. Very typical for losers," replied the therapist.

I don't know. Take the high road here.
Shouldn't we empathize with them? Look at the facts. They're seeing a sex therapist for Post Election Stress Trauma. It could be worse, think about that poor man at the WTC. Michael Moore, still misinforming folks, listed the reasons not to slit your wrists, but didn't list any reasons for not shooting yourself.
And, you know there's always a flip side...
Sex is a good thing.
A very good thing.
I thought the election was better than sex.
Do you suppose I need an appointment with that therapist? |
