I did not want to waste everyone's time until I could find the link
that led me to believe that TERRORISM was indeed a term used
during the Vietnam War.
I have posted same below and wish to know if the Admn. thinks
it would be helpful to post individually to remind people that may
have missed it that INDEED terrorists were part of the military
community at that time.
Let me know of just zap it over there.
I just want Kerry to bear whatever burdens he has created for
himself.
I remain convinced that meeting with TERRORISTS is one of the
offenses.

What is strange is that John Kerry could have written about meeting with terrorists in Paris, with regard to the representatives of the NV and PRG.

If that is, indeed, what he wrote, then it removes any excuse for "youthful naivete' " in knowing who he was dealing with.

Half the people in the country would really love to get their hands on those Kerry journals, but in the meantime, (ie: waiting for hell to freeze over Wink ) I think that just the reporting of this conversation between Brinkley and Edwards is shocking enough.

Kerry shammed the entire DNC, most of the ABB'ers in the country and then shammed his own running mate, as well.

The fact that Edwards could see a bombshell like this for what it was and make that comment about it is telling, in itself.

"He met with terrorists? Oh, that's good!"

They were using the terrorist label for the Viet Cong in 1971 in the Congressional Hearings.

Yep, sure does - with references to events as early as 1967, e.g.,

I think there has been a tendency in the past for people to make heroes of the North Vietnam Government, of the Viet Cong, of the people that I consider the enemy.

I will speak of my direct involvement, here, and what I can recall very vividly.

In the spring of 1969, in a village out of Can Tho, in South Vietnam, when I was {15394c3} riding along I came across a school bus. A terrorist had thrown a grenade in this school bus that was filled with children. Two of the children were killed, three of them were wounded so seriously that I have no question but that they probably died later, and several certainly were wounded to the extent that they were maimed for life.
