There's a fairly large contribution noted by Swiftees...
Quote: | Swift boat veterans attack
On April 4, a group of 10 Vietnam veterans crammed into a second-floor conference room in Dallas and began plotting the downfall of John Kerry. The room was decorated with Parisian watercolors of ostriches and kittens, a design favored by the host of this meeting, Merrie Spaeth, a public relations executive who had once been director of media relations for Reagan.
The original seeds of this meeting lay not with Spaeth, but with two Vietnam veterans whose relationships with Kerry dated back three decades: The first was John O'Neill, a Nixon White House ally who had famously debated Kerry over the Vietnam War on "The Dick Cavett Show" in 1971. The second was Roy Hoffmann, one of Kerry's former commanding officers. |
I can't help but notice the author failed to comment that the Swiftees illuminated kerry's long history of lying at every opportunity. Even when the truth would have served better and more simply..
The left simply has no clue that there was a huge "anybody but Kerry" crowd, outside even unrelated to the Swiftees. _________________ said Democratic Chairman Terry McAuliffe. "It is inexcusable to mock service and sacrifice."
well, when even the DNC can see it,,,,, then kerry is toast. |

Just factor in that this article was written by the BOSTON GLOBE. Given that fact, it's surprising that they wrote something this close to the truth. |

From the same article:
Quote: | A stiff wind was blowing across the canyon, and Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam, had trouble understanding some of the questions being thrown his way. |
Is this another Kerry tall tail? Granted, gun blasts are LOUD but to suffer permanent hearing loss from being there for 4 months?
Maybe another purple heart is in order
