This Kevin Sites wouldn't happen to be a skerry democrat, Bush hater, do you think? Notice the word APPARENTLY, meaning the reporter did not even have any facts at all.

Kevin Sites is traveling with these Marines. Check out his blog posted above.

Here is some of his bio:

Kevin Sites: Combat Correspondent

http://www.kevinsites.net/bio.php

Kevin Sites is a pioneering, multi-media journalist who often works as a one-man unit, using portable, digital technology to report, write, edit and transmit his stories from conflict areas around the world. He has covered war zones in Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.

Most recently, as a non-embedded correspondent for CNN, Sites provided viewers with independent reports from the frontlines of Northern Iraq. Traveling with Kurdish Peshmerga fighters, Sites broadcasted live as coalition air strikes hit Iraqi positions in Chamchamal and Kirkuk.

Sites's reporting was cut short, however, when Iraqi Fedayeen militia outside of Tikrit captured him and his team. They were stripped of all their equipment and threatened with death until their Kurdish translator negotiated their release after four hours in captivity.

Sites’s war blog, kevinsites.net, utilized text, digital images and audio to provide readers with a more intimate behind-the-scenes look at the people of Iraq, the war and how it was being covered. The site received millions of visits, and continues to draw an active readership.

Sites also spent nearly six months on the front lines in Afghanistan for NBC and MSNBC News, covering the Northern and Eastern Alliance forces prior to and after the fall of the Taliban. He shot some of the earliest video of ground combat there, including the first American casualty--a journalist wounded during a Taliban mortar attack.

Sites has made several trips to Colombia, covering U.S. anti-drug efforts, including cocoa spraying operations and the training of the Colombian government’s Jungle Commandos. When Colombian paramilitary forces captured travel writer, Robert Young Pelton and his companions in November 2002, Sites interviewed them live, via videophone from the edge of the jungle, shortly after their release.

As a producer for NBC News, he received an Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of the war in Kosovo and was nominated for a national Emmy Award for contributions to a series on landmines.

No one can know what these Marines have been going through. We can only surmize. This is the same reporter who, while working for CNN, was divulging information about battle plans on his website. He was susequently fired by CNN and is back in the field with NBC.

Interesting stuff Shooter. I wonder if these Marines know of what he did in the past. His site should have more material to work with. If this guy is political we need to send this information out.

If that US Marine had turned his back and got shot or blown up by a wounded terrorist playing pussum, he should have been charged with derelition of duty! He would have endangered himself and others.
Instead he did his job exatly like he should.
Give him a medal, make that two medals one for being shot in the face the day before. (God bless him)

When is the US military going to learn to keep these anti-military reporters
away from combat zones? They are a lose-lose situation.
Any pictures-video from combat zones should be approved by the US command center, anything harmful to our cause should not be released to the public till the war is over.

After reading this story on my Yahoo news, can anyone wonder that the OLM is working hand in hand with the anti-war movement here in the US?

If they have their way, what happened to our soldiers returning from Vietnam will be happening again with our soldiers returning from Iraq. There is no longer any pretext of supporting our troops in the media, as far as I am concerned.

In fact, I'm convinced that they are doing everything in their power to incite the kinds of riots and demonstrations that were prevalent during the Johnson administration, so as to show the American public and the rest of the world what a monster President Bush is, and to ensure that the next Democratic candidate gets re-elected. You can bet your bottom dolloar that if sKerry had been the candidate, you would see a more balanced view of the war after the inauguration, so as to make *their* man look like a hero.

Mr. Kerry says that we shouldn't confuse the war with the warrior. Well, Mr. Kerry tell that to your media friends.

In the first Gulf war my younger brother who served 20 years in Airborn
Special Forces, was air dropped on a mountain inside Iraq, hundreds of them, their job was to take out hundreds of Iraqi tanks in the valley. I think they were called the "Red Brigade".
When the ground war started they got the orders, within 24 hours all the tanks were all fried, with Tow's or Law's and Hellfire rockets from helicopters.
Right after that the Army, Marine and some Navy Special Forces had to spend 2 weeks pulling the charred bodies from the tanks and burying them in the sand.
When I asked him why they had to do that , he said they couldn't take a chance on the media getting there, or all hell would have broke loose.
Our American Media would have made us look like Hitler's Regime.
The Media is not on our side, never was, never will be.

I'm trying to imagine myself in a similar situation in Iraq fighting against combatants whom routinely use illegal tactics to kill civilians as well as my fellow Marines, including the use of booby trapped bodies and/or suicide bombers pretending to be dead...hmmm, what do I do? I discover an illegal combatant pretending to be dead, in area known to have been a source of fire against my fellow Marines...I hope that I would quickly conclude that I must shoot him in the head before he has a chance to detonate hidden explosives! Case closed!

Lets see now......the MSM think it's ok for a certain Navy Lt. [sKerry] to shoot a fleeing VC teenager in the back and then run for CIC and POTUS, but it's not ok for a Marine to shoot a terrorist who could be ready to blow himself up and take as many marines with him as possible? There is only one kind of good Soldier - the quick or the dead!

If it were me, I would have wasted the whole mosque. These animals are always looking for the last laugh with their booby trapped bodies and bullsh*t surrenders. Well, here the Marines got the last laugh. Good for them.

Immediately following the failed OLM coup attempt to hijack our democratic process by installing Kerry as POTUS, I warned that the OLM and anti-Bush (so called "anti-war" folks) would drop all pretense of supporting our troops and would attempt to destroy Bush by destroying our military in Iraq. (See: Vietnam and Nixon)

I called it the "Vietnamization of Iraq".

All they need now is some ignorant Watergate type scandal and it will be the one-two punch needed to discredit and destroy Bush, and thus prevent him from going forward with his agenda.

Do not be distracted, that is what this is all about. They are testing the waters to see if it floats. Slam the media outlets with calls, faxes, and emails, letting them know you are on to them.

One last thing; I have a son and a daughter in Iraq. My daughter is a level 5 certified triage specialist, and the Marines she travels with will not let her go near terrorist wounded, for fear she will be blown to bits. The terrorists booby trap their wounded, knowing our fair treatment and compassion puts us at risk.

Take the outrage outside this forum to the door of our enemies in the OLM. For all our sons and daughters in theater, and for the 60 million that voted for Bush. Do not let these bastards get away with this.

There was this one perfect example of human debris that has a website showing one of these shootings, and he whining about how he just witnessed a murder, blah blah blah. The people who posted were of the lowest pond scum. I swear, it's people like that who pave the way for our own destruction. Total mental defects.

Kimmymac.

Baby, I'm with you ten thousand percent.

Screw preaching to the choir. I emailed the Secret Service (again) about the lack of appropriate coverage in biased reporting by embedded reporters.

It's interesting that those who don't support our military scream this is another Vietnam.

It's time it was screamed back.

It's time for Swift Vets make the call.

Thirty years of this **** wasn't enough?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have sent emails already to the media and friends across America. John Kerry got a medal for killing a fleeing NVietnamese, sits in the Senate and has run for President. Is this young marine not elite enough? Is he just someone's son, brother, husband from the heartland? Is he not backed by Kennedy for political agenda? He should not be prosecuted. Let the military investigate according to the rules but the media needs to stand down and stay off this. They have shown America how biased they are and we are sick of their Left mentality. They have vilified our President, our troops, and us and now they will go after this young marine. I am sick of it. Such is the legacy of Kerry.

Let's use our power and email all you know and the media as to these issues and the facts of Kerry and this marine. This is just starting and they need to know we are here, we are watching and we will make noise.
Email and make calls. Let's get this going folks. Later. CTW

Never Ever Kerry

Copied this over from the other thread. Are we all busy with emails? We must take a stand here and now. I am so furious today. and my heart is broken as well. My friend's son is there and he better not take any unneccesary risks. Please send emails and raise hell over this. Pray. CTW

Vietnamization of Iraq is the same, too, as the forum topic Watch Your Back, too. It's all rolled up in one ugly ball.

We were on the same page. Still are.
