If the cameraman had "two of 'em" he would have reached up, hit rewind, and said, guess I just had a malfunction... that would have been the end of the story.

All of us with half a functioning brain know that bad things happen in war... there are friendly fire incidents, there are civilian deaths, there are judgement errors... And there are things, like these, that I don't think any of us who weren't in Fallujah this week have any right to judge..... Urban warfare is VERY hard... We know that mosques have been used a weapons caches.... we know that the dead man had been left unattended for some time... so, how can we judge this soldier...
This was not brutal torture, this was not killing a civilian, this was killing the enemy in a hostile situation.... |
