I read they were originally thought to be sarin, but turned out to be kits to test for it. Still begs the question of why they were there.

Got it! Really quite simple once I got the flash to download.
the instructions are in English on one package, and German and Russian on the other. the Rusian reads:
Sarin, Soman, V-Gazy
Sarin, Soman V-Gasses
Poryadok raboty s indikatornymi trubkami smotri i instruktsii-pamyatke
Procedure (or sequence) of work with the indicated tubes - see see the instructions memo. The word poryadok can mean either procedure or sequence.
zaryadka no.
Charge no. (Number)
Goden do---Okt????
useful till--- Oct.???
I find it interesting that thre are no instructions in Arabic. I guess if you're an ordinary Iraqi peasant you're just SOL. _________________ Hating John Kerry continuously since 1971.

What this tells me is that the Russians were a$$ deep into this stuff with Saddam. ....just like the friggin French.
Gee, wonder why they didn't want us to invade Iraq and take out Saddam???? When money talks, honesty and dignity walks.
I hate it that Bush has to be "diplomatic" with these weasels. Don't you just wish he could pick up the Batphone and tell them "Kiss my a$$ you slimebucket. If I want your opinion we'll beat it out of you". |

Makes me wish Ike had let Georgie Patton go for it back all those years ago.
