THE NEW WORLD DISORDER
TV campaign urging:
Kick U.N. out of U.S.
Group wants headquarters booted,
asks public to sign online petition
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A new anti-United Nations television campaign is reversing the familiar refrain "get the U.S. out of the U.N.," and instead urges the global body be kicked out of the U.S.
"The U.N. has become an apologist and defender of terrorist organizations and their agents," says the 60-second commercial, which points out the recent Oil-for-Food scandal involving the U.N.
"Billions of dollars intended for humanitarian aid instead went to pay the families of Palestinian terrorists, and to buy weapons for Iraq-based terrorists. Millions more went to bribe journalists and officials in countries opposing Operation Iraqi Freedom, like France, Germany and Russia, the most vocal critics of the war. What a coincidence."
It continues by asking: "We tell other countries not to harbor organizations that support terrorists, why then do we harbor the U.N. here in America?"
Spearheading the campaign to boot the U.N. is the conservative organization, Move America Forward, which was founded by former California Assemblyman Howard Kaloogian and San Francisco talk-radio personality Melanie Morgan.
Kaloogian recently chaired the Recall Gray Davis Committee, which led the push that replaced the embattled California governor with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also helped rally millions of Americans to oppose the airing of the CBS movie "The Reagans," which portrayed the former first family in a negative light.
"The recent revelations on the U.N. Oil-for-Food scandal are the final straws in making the case against the U.N.," said Kaloogian. "The U.S. government is resolved to take action against nations that harbor terrorists or organizations which provide financial aid or in-kind assistance to terrorists. Why, then does our nation play host to, and harbor, the United Nations when recent evidence implicates the U.N.'s role in providing assistance to terrorists such as Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein?"
The group is asking concerned citizens to sign its online petition which will be delivered to President Bush and leaders of Congress, as well as the U.N.
The petition concludes by stating, "We, the undersigned, do therefore call for the following to take place immediately:
Removal of the United Nations Headquarters facilities from New York, relocating it outside of the United States and any of its territories.
A thorough review of the U.S. financial contributions to the U.N. with a goal of a more equitable payment schedule. Until that review is concluded, eliminate all the payments made by the United States to the United Nations."
Response to the effort thus far has been overwhelming, according to the group.
"I have never seen such a vigorous response to any grassroots effort like there's been to this effort to take serious steps to sanction the U.N. for it's coddling of terrorists and terrorist-supporting regimes," said Morgan of KSFO Radio.
"We need drastic change right away, and that begins with getting the U.N. out of this country and all the terrorist-sympathizing U.N. agents out of here immediately. Then we need to re-examine the amount of money that we provide the U.N. Americans pay too much to the U.N. for the treatment we receive," she said.

The UN may have started out as a good organization, but in the last 30 years or so they became extremely left wing.
As if the oil for food scandal wasn't enough Kofi himself tried to help throw our presidential election by calling the war in Iraq, Bush’s illegal war.
That was specifically meant to help Kerry win and Kerry would not have pursued the oil for food scandal.
When he called the war an illegal war, he basically said Bush is a war criminal!
Its time to get us out of the UN, and Annan and the rest of those anti-American leeches out of our country. |

It is amazing how many of our so-called friends in the world were involved in Saddam's underhanded dealings. It is apparent they had a real good thing going until the USA went in and screwed it up for them. No wonder they are not happy with us.
The French had billions of dollars in trade and the Russians were not far behind. It is in their best interest that we fail in Iraq so they can go back to business as usual.
Iran is involved in the same way you can be sure with both of these countries and I imagine Syria is too. When does the USA finally say enough is enough and put a stop to this nonsense? I have a few suggestions for the new administration:
First: Break off diplomatic relations with France and list them as a “State Sponsor of Terror”, for their behavior in the Oil for Food scandal, their continued support of Iran and Syria and the statements made by their leaders. We have had fewer problems with Castro in the last decade than with Chirac and his socialist government. Of course France should be expelled from NATO and any other trade or bi-lateral agreements terminated. This may wake the French people up to the need for regime change in France if they want to play in our sandbox.
Second: The third world run United Nations needs to be put on notice. When you ignored the UN sanctions and traded with Saddam you violated a trust and now the credibility of the organization is nearly beyond repair. Kofi is the Captain of a sinking ship and I am sure he will bail before it goes to the bottom. When the heads of member states are directly implicated in the undermining of our efforts to curb terror, pull their UN credentials and tell them by sundown to get out of Dodge. It is our country and we get to say who stays, UN or not. Foreign aid and any other support for the expelled country will be immediately terminated.
Third: Put each and every nation on notice who is developing, storing or hiding WMD/s that we know who they are and have targeted their industrial and population centers with our nuclear arsenal. In the case that WMD/s are used in this or any other country involved with the war on terror, we will launch a full-scale retaliatory nuclear attack against them to prevent transfer of such materials in the future. Fess up now like Libya recently did or place your future existence on this planet in jeopardy.
We have been tossing softballs for far too long and the time has come to put some fast hardballs right into the strike zone.
Do any of you have some suggestions? Comment here. _________________ Retired AF E-8

We must do something about the UN now that we have a good honest President and the majority of both houses.
The UN is a cash cow and we have WJC and others waiting to cash in and corrupt even more!
There is no guarantee we will win in '08 or that we will have a majority in the House or Senate.
ITS NOW OR NEVER! |

I, like many have known the un was a rip for years. The reign of kofi will be exposed, I hope Bush meant it when he said the bit about harboring a terrorist.
I remember a while back they were talking about remodeling the un building, I think it was to the tune of 50 mil., and they wanted the us to pay the tab! anybody out there heard any more? _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |

It's time to make the UN cry UN-C-L-E.
They are a parasite in our country. Flush the toilet and get them out of here. They can have a nice cozy haven in Bangladesh or somewhere.....upper Mongolia sounds nice too. |

I think I saw that too. It was on either Discovery or the History Channel. ANd the one contractor said it would be easier and less expensive to rebuild it, than to repair it.

I signed it. I think they ought to send the UN back to old Europe, and I think the US should just stay the heck out of it altogether. Let them pay their own bills.

Really and I am in support of kicking them out even if it didn't help our deficit. |

Its France's turn to be the UN host for the next 50 years. tear the damn thing down piece by piece and ship it over there-good ridance. Send mikey moore over there to cut the ribbon wearing a burger king cap. Maybe Mr. Peanut can join him, like a huge love-in with all the players. Then I can grab my remote control and flip it to Gilligans Island or some other educational channel.

I'd mandate that the move be to some third world country. That
way, the delegates would be more motivated to work on the
business at hand and wouldn't be tempted to go party all night.
Ummmm. Better make that a third world country where booze and
babes is punished by stoning. _________________ Tin Can Sailor |

Well that would bring down the property values in Fallujah wouldn't it? I mean we are supposed to be redeveloping the area aren't we?
My vote is to send it to the border between germany and france (something line - I can't remember the french guy it's named after) and let themuse all those tunnels and stuff - well the parts that aren't collapsed. Repairs WILL NOT be funded by the US or our real friends. _________________ "The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I’m here to help." Ronald Reagan |
