There is no doubt in my mind,
that ACLU stands for Anti Christ Lawyers United.

The old saying if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and goes quack-quack, IT MUST BE A DUCK.
With all the problems facing this nation, the ACLU for 20 years or more has ignored them all,
But Anti-Christian fights have been their #1 priority. Twisted Evil

If the ACLU has their way, soon they will build a Coliseum and take all us Catholics, Christians, Protestants, and Baptists, and feed us to the lions.
Not the Buhdas and Muslims though!

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF AGAIN?

Recommended Reading: PERSECUTION by David Limbaugh

This is a well-researched and revealing book!
Limbaugh provides case after case of discrimination against Christians
in the MSM, Hollywood, schools and universities. How activist judges
misinterpret and misapply the Constituton to eliminate Christianity
from our government and public life.
The only acceptable 'intolerance' is that against Christians.

Given the results of the election and the Liberal elitists labeling the
Red States as Jesusland, I feel that we are in an undeclared war on
Christianity. Since they cannot win at the ballot box, the Leftists will
desperately redouble their efforts in the courts to wipe out any Christian
influence in our public life. I only hope that in the next four years
President Bush can change the anti-Christian bias of the courts.

This sort of rhetoric should stay with the tinfoil hat Democrats. It makes it hard to make fun of them when we do the same thing. Wink

Having said, that the ACLU has a very twisted sense of logic regarding the First Amendment. Ten Commandments monuments must be removed from public property because some find them offensive, yet the National Endowment of the Arts should subsidize art that christians find offensive. In other words, speech that criticizes christanity is protected, but speech that supports christanity is not.

While the founding fathers did not want the country owing allegance to one particular religion, they did not intend for a secular state either. The ACLU's position is in direct conflict with the establishment clause of the First Amendment. Recognizing a diety is a far cry from Congress passing a law establishing a state religion. It takes a certain kind of bias to ignore this as the ACLU has.

What if the founding fathers had had a crystal ball and could see how twisted this thing called a Constitution could become in the interpretation?

"What are those fools doing?" Look here at what they call the US Code! More books than you can read in a lifetime and added to every session of Congress!

"And look here.... they are spending FEDERAL monies to support anti-religious and anti-American programs? What on earth would make them decide that this is appropriate use of funds taken from the citizenry?

"How in the world have they come to understand that we intend that the prohibition against a state religion means that nowhere should the state make any mention of God, at all?

"How did they possibly come to the understanding that our motto - In God We Trust - is somehow establishing of a state religion?

"How do we codify this so that it cannot be thusly misinterpreted without leaving out a single possible perversion of our own words?

"How can the Republic endure if these simplest of phrases can be used by even tyrants for their own purposes?

"It appears that the very system that we have so sought to evade in the establishment of this free country is the system that will use our own words against the freedom of the country.

"I believe we need some good bracing doses of brandy, here.... maybe this great experiment wasn't such a good idea after all."

The ACLU defends the right to display the Swastika in Skokie but denies LA County the marginal representation of a Cross.

The ACLU insists on the right tax payer financing of 'Christ in Urine' at public museums but denies Christ in the Manger from public lawns.

"Go OJ" and like banners haphazardly hung on freeway overpasses may not be removed by CalTrans unless they likewise remove all US Flags from their property. So ruled the 9th Circuit in protecting 'political speech'.

At what point does this inane sophistry compel a smack upside the head. When will the ACLU be brought before the Bar for disorderly conduct, public nuisance, and an ongoing violation of civil rights and free speech?

Rodger Hitchcock hosted Rush's show today. He had on Congressman "Duke"Cunningham. Duke is going to try to amend the US Code 42 USE section 1988. This section allows the ACLU to have the TAXPAYERS pay them for these STUPID, ANTI Christ law suits. Until today i thought they were funded by like minded people. Never did i know it was tax payers! We have to support Congressman Cunningham in his efforts. He is a California congressman no less!

Duke Cunningham is from the San Diego area, a bright red pimple on the backend of the blue coast of California.

If you look at a county map of the election, only the far left coast of California was blue. The majority of the state (but not the majority of the population) was solidly a RED state.

Roger Hedgecock (right-wing former mayor of San Diego) has been going off on his own radio show about the Anti Christ Litigation Union. Yes, they are extorting taxpayer money from local governments by filing bogus lawsuits and "settling" for a million here or there.

You can get contact info for your local congress critters at http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/

The ACLU, PETA, and other like-minded anti-Christian organizations
like to quote the anti-establisment clause of the Constitution, but they
conveniently forget the last phrase of the Second Ammendment. It states
that Congress shall make no law preventing the free exercise of religion.
Presumably that principle could be extended to the courts, including the
US Supreme Court. If such laws are unconstitutional, the courts err
when they uphold them.

Now, wait a minute! How can you lump PETA in with the liberals? I've been a member of People Eating Tasty Animals since before I could walk, as far as I know. Or is there another group out there trying to hijack our moniker with their anti-carnivore dumba$$ liberal tofu-eating ways?

I think you meant the 1st Amendment, the 2nd deals with gun ownership.
