IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT JOHN KERRY BE TREATED WITH THE SAME DISDAIN AS IF IT WERE HANOI JANE VISITING IRAQ.
PASS THE WORD TO THE RANKS.
PRESS COVERAGE WOULD BE NICE SHOWING HE IS NOT WELCOME.

Kerry to visit Iraq, Middle East
By Lolita C. Baldor, Associated Press, 12/9/2004
WASHINGTON (AP) Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry will travel to Iraq next month as the war-torn country prepares for elections. The Massachusetts senator, who lost his bid for the presidency in November, is expected to visit several Middle East countries, with the focus on the situation in Iraq and the war on terror. A decorated Vietnam War veteran, Kerry also plans to meet with U.S. troops, including some from Massachusetts, to thank them for their services, spokeswoman April Boyd said Thursday.

Kerry's solo overseas trip comes after several senators endured a harrowing flight out of Baghdad, and amid increased security concerns as violence there continues to escalate.

Sooo JFnK has to take a solo trip, instead of with the other group of senators. Publicity hound, keeping his name in the news? This guy still wants to be POTUS.....
Another boston.com article
Quote: | The Massachusetts Democrat is to meet with National Guard troops from Massachusetts, other active-duty armed forces personnel, and others during the tour. The dates of his travel, the length of his stay, and his exact itinerary were being withheld for security purposes.
''He's going because he wants to thank the troops from Massachusetts," said Kerry spokeswoman April Boyd. ''While he's there, he'll also be meeting with military commanders, embassy officials, and Iraqi government leaders. The purpose will be to discuss the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism."

he's probably hoping for another scratch or bruise so he can write himself up for another PH !
I hope someone puts it out on the military sites so they are warned.... and
ignore him or even protest him !
hopefully the Iraqi PM will ignore him.... tho, we should watch for stories (when Kerry comes back- unless we're lucky and they keep him) saying that the Iraqi government officials told him they all voted for him! _________________ Stevie

While I would like to see Kerry totally ignored if he makes a trip to Iraq, I'm fearful that that would allow the minority who did support him seem like a majority especially where the MSM is concerned. Maybe a better approach would be to have supporters attend any public gathering involving Kerry in Iraq with the purpose of peacefully expressing how unwelcome he is and how much greater are the number of Bush supporters in Iraq. I would love to see an embarassing public question and answer session such as Don Rumsfield felt on his visit. |

I say let him go.
Maybe, he can meet with some of the insurgents and try out some of that "sensitivity" he talked about as part of his "plan". |

It is insulting. Not only is he attempting to position himself for '08 but he's inevitably going there to find reason to attack this President yet again(the very man who voted against funding the troops). And what is he going to do in meeting with Iraqi gov't officials since he attacked Iraqi PM Allawi when he made a visit to the USA? What a scum. There's some ulterior motive here because this is not a thoughtful man. |

Better yet... have the troops pose some really good questions to him about why he voted against funding.... THEN, have a BLANKET PARTY

Why is this traitor still in the Senate? How come the possibly biggest traitor in the country's history is still walking the streets a free man.
I just don't understand anything anymore.

I don't know why he's walking the streets, but if Mass puts him in again, their nuts...He's becoming amusing...If he runs again in 2008, the whole party of Dem's are nuts...I think he just loves breaking it off...He's useless... How do you put a loser, up again in 2008?? And if Deano gets to run the party, they will shoot themselves in the foot.... _________________ Kerry = When one lies, one has a lot to remember. That's why Kerry flip flopped so much.

Ahhhh, isn't that sweet? The illustrious War Hero(tm) needs to hear some more applause.....
Wonder if a reporter will work as hard to "set up" questions at the War Hero(tm)'s press conference as one did recently at the Rumsfeld press conference?
Or yet, upon reflection, maybe the War Hero(tm) would like to swap war stories about medal-winning exploits with REAL soldiers.... who have REAL medals.... who don't have RICE in their butts....
(golly, the pain those rice-in-the-butt wounds can cause..... ouchee, ouchee.... where's the paperwork for that medal?)
We need to slack the butth*le some cut... oops, I mean butth*le the cut some .... oh. Well, you know I mean what everybody else means when they're happy to talk about the illustrious poodle.... |

Poor guy,he's suffered through the pain of multiple right wing conpiracy discredits, rice in the butt, attacks on the validity of his medals........
Give him a quarter and tell him to call someone that gives a .............
I'd like to see him approach an audience with empty chairs,"never know he might be able to fill some chairs with left wing reporters". _________________ Tin Can Gunline Vietnam

Kerry to Visit Assad
11:15 Dec 29, '04 / 17 Tevet 5765
(IsraelNN.com) Former US Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry will be visiting Syria for meetings with top officials in the first week of 2005, after a preceding visit to Iraq, according to Syrian news reports.
Syrian news agency reports also indicated that former US Under Secretary of State Richard Armitage will visit Damascus next Sunday (January 2) for meetings with Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad. Armitage's visit to Syria, like Kerry's, is also to be subsequent to a trip to Iraq.
