Congress hasn’t been this polarized in almost a century, TIME magazinr claims in fresh editions.
In the Senate, majority leader Bill Frist is seeking a ruling from presiding officer Dick Cheney that filibusters against judicial nominees are unconstitutional.
In the House, speaker Dennis Hastert and minority leader Nancy Pelosi have not had a private meal together since she took over the top Democratic job two years ago. “Each thinks the other is a rabid partisan, so they confer only when they must,” Waller reports.

This just the libs trying to be in charge when the are not. They put forth the idea of non-partisanship as the republicans crossing the aisle and agreeing with the democrats. The idea of aisle crossing working both ways is not even considered by them as it does not advance their agenda. Hassert is correct as minority leader Pelosi has to work with him since he calls the shots. The fact that she doesn't shows that either she favors obstructionism or is so weak in her leadership that she cannot control her members.

The picture of Nanci Pellosi beside the article just turns my stomach.
She is from the same part of the food chain as the Kennedy's .
Remember Rose Kenedy was the daughter of the most notorious crooked mayor in American history. She married the biggest bootlegger in town, Joe Kennedy. Their progeny is what is held up by the American left as some sort of twisted aristocracy.
Well Nanci Pellosi is right out of the same mold. The daughter of one of Baltimore Md.'s most corupt mayors ever. Maryland having I think more ex Govenors having spent time in the slammer then most any other state I can think of, this says allot.
