Breaking News from NewsMax.com

Holy Hillary: I Always Prayed

Borrowing a page from President Bush, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told a Boston audience this week that prayer has always played a meaningful role in her life - though accounts from her days as a student radical suggest that's probably not true.

"I've always been a praying person," Clinton told a crowd of more than 500, including many religious leaders, at Boston's Fairmont Copley Plaza.

According to the Boston Globe, the newly religious former first lady "invoked God more than half a dozen times" as she urged society to accommodate religious people who "live out their faith in the public square."

Though she was raised as a Methodist, Clinton's open embrace of God, along with her insistence that she's "always been a praying person," has to come as a shock to those who remember her college days.

Back then, Clinton was far more likely to be seen reading, not the Bible, but the writings of Marx and Mao - and had close associations with unabashed Communists for whom the mere mention of religion was heresy.

One was Robert Treuhaft, who, as noted in the late Barbara Olson's Hillary biography "Hell to Pay," had "dedicated his entire legal career to advancing the agenda of the Soviet Communist Party."

In 1972 Treuhaft offered the future Senator a summer internship at California's Berkeley University. Clinton accepted, immersing herself in Truehaft's brand of radical Stalinism. When she returned she was, according to Olson, "a budding Leninist."

If Sen. Clinton was "a praying person" back then, she must have kept it well concealed from her radical mentors.

The Red Queen is a bigger lier that her cheating husband. All she ever prayed for was to avoid being caught. It was not too long ago she couldn't remember anything and then wrote a fiction book about it. It's all for image, no substance. The witch thinks the people are stupid or as Rush says, "How can we fool'em today?". The ones who would vote for her are stupid, the rest won't buy it any more than they did Slick Willy's BS.

I know that the MSM will cover for her, but how can she really
expect any thinking American to fall for this? She has never
referred to her faith in any serious way since she came upon
the national scene. Everyone knows that she is considering a
run for POTUS in 2008. Obviously, she is starting early trying
to lay the groundwork to appear more moderate. She knows
that the "looney left" will give her a pass because they will
assume that she does not really mean what she is saying.

I'm sold. I believe her. I mean, a religious person wouldn't lie, would they? And, certainly not a Commie-Pinko Senator.

You have a point. The Red Queen doesn't lie, she has hacks do it for her. She just doesn't remember anything. I wonder if she has a Bible as big as the one Der Schlickmeister used to tote around.

Hillary Clinton is, at this time, the unstoppable juggernaut of the Democrat Party. She will likely be the Democrat's nominee for President in 2008, barring an unforseen circumstance.

That being said, she will get spanked unless the Republicans pull another Bob Dole candidate fiasco.

During the campaign of '08 her 8 last years of moderate posturing will be exposed in short order by internet sources, talk radio, and Fox News. The MSM has lost the capability to control the news enough to keep her communist / socialist leanings secret.

There is no way the USA in this day and age will elect a heartfelt communist as President.

If I am wrong, may God have mercy on us all.

I wouldn't call anything an unstoppable juggernaut. It's too early. This woman does not have anything near overwhelming support. The DNC looks like a Howard Dean chairmanship and Algore and Lurch still think they have a shot. The Red Queen does not have control and there is dissension in the ranks. She is hated by many in the party. The witch is tactless and uses hacks to promote her while she hides behind image. The Age of Clintonism is in decline. I would be wary, but would not concede anything to them just yet.

GM,

I do not see anyone stopping her, the only person in the Democrat party polling anywhere close to her is John Kerry, and that is just residual from the recent election. He will NOT be the nominee in '08.

http://www.pollingreport.com/2008.htm

The MSM, which the left wing still embraces, has already coronated her.

As I had stated before, the only thing IMHO that could stop her is fellow Democrats piling dirt on her during the primary. The Republicans will likely be holding their info on her communist sympathising until she gets the nomination, then they will fire with both barrels.

Of course, I could be completely wrong, but time will tell.

I think there is an unwarranted fear of this woman. That's how she operates. She hitched her wagon to Bill and went along. She always has somebody doing her dirty work. Maybe she gets nominated, maybe not. It's too darn early. This devious wench cannot stand on much and has to play the victim to get sympathy. Outside of the Leftist Liberal strongholds where she has her base, I don't think she gets much of anything in the way of enthusiasm.

Joseph Goebbles said that. Hillary is a phony just like Kerry and going through the motions won't influence most Americans with any sense. If that kind of charade gets her elected and the electorate is that gullible, then it's all over.

"It takes a village to raise a child", Pol Pot CCP(Cambodia Communist Party) leader talking to Khemer villagers.

I think Hillary said something similar once. Eeeep. I cannot wait for her to run.
