Here is a RaTHer interesting writeup on Jane Fonda's action's in North Vietnam, and later "apologies". I'd say the writer doesn't like her too much! Snope's final conclusion:

Do you suppose Snopes would add some other recent names to Fonda's???
This is currently #13 on their top 25 -- I find that is also interesting, this long after the election!
For those few of you who haven't been to snopes.com before, it is my favorite place to go for info. on internet hoaxes, urban legends, etc. Usually fairly centrist, but not this time.
I haven't been "here" (this site) for a while. Really busy with life, you know... ! I'm glad to see the site is still active.

Personally, I lost a lot of respect for Snopes when they supported Kerry's medals and actions in Vietnam and attempted to discredit the Swift Boat Veterans. While they do good research on many Urban Legends, they sure dropped the ball on that one.

I have commented to them a couple of times telling them to keep commentarys out of the factual information. In my opinion they tend to lean left on some subjects though generally are documented well. They really fumbled on Kerry, particularly in retrspect when he had to back off on the Cambodia thing. Buty then the MSM never reported it either.
