Just wondered if Kerry has made his Form 180 open for scrutiny. He said a week or so ago that he would.
Here's another question I have: Would it be possible for Kerry to get access to his records and clean them up to suit himself. He's a senator, you know, and them guys can get away with almost anything.
I shudder at the thought that we almost elected someone who may have had a less than "honorable" discharge from the Navy. Any thoughts on these comments?
Thanks again to you swift-boaters! Gene

In mid January 2005 Kerry told CNN that he would sign a SF 180 and repeated the statement about 10 days later. As far as I know, he has not yet done so. It seems to me, if there was nothing politically damaging to him in his records he would have had them released a long time ago and I would be leary of a clean record now because he has the power to get the records changed by "accident" prior to release.
That being said, I am so grateful to the people for not electing him that his current machinations do not bother me at all.

I still wonder if his money (well, hers) and influence might be able to clean the archives. Experts on this site doubt anyone has such ability due to backups in multiple archive locations and integrity of Navy keepers. As to the number of days since Silky Pony promised to sign, check this out: Promise Unfulfilled. The subject line carries the current number of days and the "edit" line at the bottom of the first post indicates when it was last updated.
