I post this here due to it actually being a question concerning Terry Schiavo and her plight.

So far, since sKerry failed to grab the Presidency, he has publicly opposed virtually everything President Bush has said or proposed. Bush has made a public statement concerning his feelings about Terri's plight, but try as I may, I can find or hear absolutely nothing from sKerry about this Confused

Is he trying to play safe and avoid comment? Even Kennedy has come out sounding like taking both sides, but sKerry seems to be unusally quiet on this. Shocked

Has anyone heard or read anything from him about this?????

kerry Does not respond that quickly, he has a lot of cell phone calls to make, in order for him to make a decision.

if he ever makes one at all you can be sure it wil be against Bush.

Too mundane for Lurch. It could lead to sanctity of life issues and such which would have complications he doesn't want. He can't take both sides on this one.

I think the poodle is waiting on a call from Teddy or Soros to let him know what he should think and say.

The only “stand” or shall I say -- “vague & distant comment,” I could find from kerry on the Schiavo case is in an article from 2003!:

Quote:
11/21/03: “Kerry refuses to criticize Bush on Schiavo decision,” by Peter Wallsten, Miami Herald

TALLAHASSEE - Steering clear of one of the nation's most emotional social issues as he struggles to focus his presidential campaign, MA Sen. John Kerry declined Thursday to criticize Gov. Jeb Bush for his controversial push to keep a brain-damaged woman alive. <……>

''I'm not going to trash anybody on it,'' Kerry told The Herald. "These are some very thorny, legitimate issues.''

I suppose he is still pondering deeply about what his opinion should be on this “thorny, legitimate issue” …. just on the very outside chance someone asks him where he stands on it.….

As I said before kerry needs more time he has to call among others.

The following:

Chris matthews
Imus "in the morning"
Chevy Chase
Janeane Garofolo
Rob Reiner
Billy crystal

a sit down with Micheal Moore

of course a manatory call to Slick Willie

Then he has to poll his friends in Europe.

and last but not least The Rev Al, & Jesse

not sure about Dan the Flim flam man he might not be on the call list anymore.

Now that he is a good Catholic again, he gave up signing SF-180's for Lent.

Why do you guy still have a woody for Kerry? It's old news and that horse is dead, so why keep beating it? We have a real war going on now somewhere over in the middle east.... uuhhh I think it's in Iraq. These boys and us that have returned home physically and mentally screwed up could use some real help, not just lip service. What do you say men? Wink

Diewithyourbootson, since you identify yourself as one who of "These boys and us that have returned home physically and mentally screwed up could use some real help, not just lip service," I assume you are claiming to be screwed up yourself.

What you obviously don't realize is that you are speaking to mostly men who saw combat long before you were twinkle in your Mama's eye and also returned to a hostile society.

As for sKerry, asking his position on any public matter is very relevant to his suitability to hold public office.

If you actually need assistance, may I direct you contact your nearest VA Hospital ASAP. In spite of the rhetoric against Bush, they have not closed down nor are their budgets being reduced. Help is there if you really need it.

In the meantime we will continue exposing sKerry for what we all know he is.

Lurch is not a dead horse by any means and he is still in the Senate. He can still do a lot of damage. Those of us in the older generation are not going to give him a break until he retires and goes away. The enmity directed to him is earned and deserved. We know all to well about where this war is and what it means and we are not about to let the sKerry Liberals or any of the others screw things up.
