Every time I hear John Kerry himself stumping, or whether it's his lovely (sarcasm) wife, or anyone else stumping for him, it's enough to make me puke.
That S.O.B. had the balls to come home from Vietnam, and start bashing his fellow Vietnam vets. Protesting them into the dirt!!!!! Then he went on to tell someone who saw him reenact some supposed enemy engagements, that he wasn't going to use that film footage for political gain.
NOW HE'S BRINGING UP HIS SERVICE IN VIETNAM EVERY CHANCE HE GETS. AND IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH EVERY TIME I HEAR HIM OR ANYONE ELSE BRAG HIM UP.

It seems to me that a lot of the average American is swallowing all of the B.S. that he is shoveling out. And it's scaring the hell out of me.

IS THE AVERAGE AMERICAN BLIND? Why don't they see through this guy? Don't they realize that you can't talk things out, with the likes of Al Qaeda, or the Taliban, or the Fedayeen. These terrorists see inaction as a sign of weakness.

In 1993 when the World Trade Center was attacked the first time and Bill Clinton went on TV and said that we were going to "hunt down those responsible and punish them to the furthest extent of the law", but then he did, NOTHING.
And then again, in 1996 when the embassies in Africa were attacked, Clinton went on TV again, saying that we were going to "hunt down those responsible, and punish them to the furthest extent of the lawy", and again did nothing.
Then in 2000, when the U.S.S. Cole was attacked.
AGAIN, BILL CLINTON WENT ON TV, AND ANNOUNCED THAT "WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL WE HUNT DOWN THOSE RESPONSIBLE AND PUNISH THEM TO THE FURTHEST EXTENT OF THE LAW."
BUT DID NOTHING.

First of all, Clinton was treating these cowards who hide behind hoods, like common criminals. Like those thugs who commit B&E's, or snatch purses.
They laughed at us. They saw all of that lip service as a sign of weakness. And I honestly believe that Clinton's inaction is a major reason why the attrocities of September 11, 2001 happened.
The terrorists did't expect George W. Bush to actually act on the situation.

I think that the average Kerry supporter hates Bush more than they prefer Kerry. Its why he is not doing so well in the polls. He got a negative bounce from the Democratic National Convention, which shows that he didn't fool anyone with his phony tough guy speech.

He was selected from a primary process that only offered up anti-Bush ranting and no substance. He still remains rather insubstantial, so much so that he had to masquerade as a pro-war, pro-US centrist to try and fool undecided voters. He failed miserably, which shows that people are seeing what a disaster his presidency could be national security-wise. They are also not buying his brand of BS, which is to live in the leftist fantasy land of free health care and pretending the economy is so awful that we need more socialism.

I agree...most supporters of John Kerry are just because they do not like Bush....it is as simple as that. They are not looking at the issues and who John Kerry and John Edwards really are. But I saw at the Ronald Reagan Presidental Library where it was written:


"I know in my heart that man is good

that what is right will always eventually triump

and there is a purprose and worth to each and every life"

and we all know that President Bush is right and so he will eventually triump in this election.

All we can do is keep getting the word out about who and what John Kerry is.

I just finished listening to a news conference that John Kerry just had. I didn't hear the whole thing, but the part that I did hear was him saying that in the past he has proposed a lot of the recommendations that were handed down by the 9/11 council, but the current administration more or less pushed them aside. John Kerry went on to say that in his own personal opinion, the Bush administration isn't doing enough to stop terrorism, and the time to do it is now.

This coming from the man, and from the party that wants to come to the table and have a dialogue with the leaders of the terrorist groups. As I've said in my previous note, trying to have a dialogue with these people is part of the reason why we are in the situation that we are in right now.
Theresa, I hope that you are right. I hear from a lot of people who actually believe what Kerry is doling out. When I ask them to show me some specifics on how Kerry plans to win the war on terrorism, or make health care coverage better, all they come back with is,
ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN BUSH.
Some of the things I hear people say just amazes me. It's as if they already forgot what happened not even 3 years ago. And I remind them that we will be attacked again. It's not a matter of if, but when. And a lot of the people I say that too, try to tell me that they don't have the guts to attack us again.
Talk about nieve.

Anyway...the DNC did not see "the bounce" they were expecting and I think that as the GOP's convention goes forward we will see more people either change their mind or those who have not made a decision will. I have to think positive because I just can not image 4 years of John Kerry in office!

Plus I hear that most people actually do not really look at politics until it gets closer to November. I do see where more and more vets have found swiftvets than before and I think word will spread and all we can do is make sure that those of us who believe we are "right" get people registered and make sure they do vote. This year's election is going to be defining and will actually, I believe, change our future. Either we will fight terrorism with George Bush as he takes 4 more years or we will loose everything we hold dear if we allow the likes of John Kerry to get elelcted.

Everything I hear, see or notice I copy and forward onto everyone I know. I just hope that the people on the receiving end do the same thing. The internet is a powerful source if we use it correctly. If I get something I feel is important I pass it on. I registered with protestwarrior and I will go and protest if John Kerry happens to come near St. Louis and I hear about it before hand. It may just be a little but too often most of us on the right are too polite and sit by and shake our heads at the left...what used to be the far left is now becoming the central left and that scares me. But I think if we all pull together and use whatever resources we have we can make a big statement and a differene. I have to believe that the other half of us in this country can and will make a difference if we just make sure EVERYONE we know votes. Too often most people think their votes do not count or one vote can not make a difference. We found that not to be true in FL (I voted absentee ballot in FL due to my hubby still being active duty).

Nothing ceases to amaze me. I have a lot of friends that started out as ABB voters and I have been talking to them for @ 6 months now & they are finally starting to figure Kerry out. I just think that it's funny how he came out with the 'I am not going to reveal my plans until I get in the White House' today. That was enough to make me puke. Are people just so blatantly stupid to see that this guy has NO plan? He is using the Clintoon playbook and running with it.

When I actually saw him say he would not reveal his plan...I thought what the He** is wrong with that? And people can actually vote for a man not knowing what he is going to do? I can not believe how some people are just voting because they hate President Bush...and not about the issues. I know it shouldn't surprise me...but it does!

I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh show yesterday, and he touched on the very subject that you brought up Theresa.
Rush said that he thinks, and it makes sense too, is that Kerry probably doesn't really have any plans on how he's going to combat terrorism better, lower health care costs, and prescription drug cost, or raise taxes on "the rich", and lower taxes for the middle class.
Rush went on to say that even if Kerry does have plans, he doesn't want to reveal them, because they are most likely so out of touch with mainstream America that he would end up tanking his own campaign.
So he just goes on and tells every group who he talks to, what he plans to do if he gets elected, without giving any specific details.

I don't understand how there are still so many people who haven't notice that Kerry and Edwards keep on harping about how they are going to stop any tax breaks, and fine those companies guilty of outsourcing their business to foreign countries, but yet, the Heinz Corporation is one of the biggest offender of just that.

The Heinz Corp. has 72 plants located outside of the U.S.
Approximately 60% of their work force is located outside of the U.S.

Now that is what amazes me.
