At the Service for Terri today, Bobby Schindler said that they had received a Purple Heart in the mail from someone for Terri . . . he held it up as tears were flowing down his face |

more of the story...
Quote: | Schiavo's brother, Bobby Schindler, had trouble beginning his rememberence to his sister. After choking back tears, he held up a Purple Heart sent to the family by a Vietnam War veteran.
The sender indicated that Schiavo was killed by enemies of the United States, and thus, deserved the award, Schindler said to a standing ovation.

Here is the link for the video of Bobby Schinder talking about the Purple Heart Terri received in the mail. Very moving!

This site is also a good place for up to date information of this tragedy. They are trying to organize and define the direction what actions they will be taking. _________________ The eyes are the window of the soul! |

At my Bible study on Tuesday night, we were chatting while we were
waiting for others to arrive. The subject of the deaths of Terri Schiavo
and JPII came up. In the course of the conversation, I was surprised to
realize that my pastor's wife had no idea that Terri could breathe on her
own. She is normally a very compassionate person, so I had assumed
that she felt the same way that I do about what happened to Terri. I
have been consumed by Terri's case ever since March 18. I can only
conclude that she was depending on what she read or heard in the
MSM for her facts about the case. I was really shocked because she is
a well-educated former high school English teacher and her husband
just got back from Iraq in January. I would have expected her of all
people to be better informed. It just goes to show you how many
people do still depend on the MSM for their news. _________________ Susan R. Morton |

My next door neighbor is a darling woman - but she's totally bought into the mainstream media's side of the story, too. She didn't know that Terri could swallow or that Dr. Crandall had succeeded in getting Judge Greer to agree to the idea that spoon-feeding was a medical treatment.
She thought Terri was "brain dead." This is a lady that lives with the television on and is more up on things than almost anyone else I know. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Thank God for providing us with the ability to think for ourselves, and giving us the internet as a means of breaking out of the control the MSM has had on us all. I am thankful for a place like this that we can all come together and seek the truth, and provide each other with moral support as we do so. |
