Below is an excerpt from an e-mail to a friend. I've also included the URL to the Swift Boat Vets web page that prompted what I said. For some reason I was very moved by this picture. I want the public to know who committed almost all of the atrocities in Vietnam, and I want to know how other 'Nam vets feel about this.
Here's the URL:
http://www.swiftvets.com/index.php?topic=VillageVisit

and here's my message about it:

On a more serious note, I've attached a single web page that says more
than anything else what Kerry did to us (you know who "us" is). The
faces of the Vietnamese are what I remember; they were generally
friendly, and yes, hopeful. I also remember the face of the mama-san
who owned the small barbershop/general store by our messhall at Marble
Mountain MCAF, after a VC rocket totally obliterated her life's work
and savings during the night; she wailed pitifully for hours amongst
the ruins of her life. Kerry and his ******* buddies turned my
experience 180 degrees into one big lie, a lie that he and others
convinced most of a tired America to believe. Many years later, the country
took those accusations back and attempted to replace them with
honor for all Vietnam veterans; Kerry never has. If possible, please
show this picture to at least one person who doesn't understand who
really committed most of the atrocities in Vietnam. Thanks - Walt

Walt I had read that page in the days while the message board was down and also felt quite moved.

This morning early I saw David Horowitz on CSPANS Washington Journal. Horowitz was asked why he had left his role as one of America's more accomplished Far Leftist of the 60's and 70s. His reply was directly related to John Kerry's congressional testimony.

Kerry testified, lied, and three million people died

Kerry's analysis at the time was that the premature evacuation of American Soldiers from Vietnam would result in no more then three thousand revenge killings/ assassinations of South Vietnamese.

Congress took Kerry's advice and without factoring in the deaths in Cambodia Kerry, was wrong by a factor of 1000.

Horowitz felt betrayed that none of America's Left, including Kerry, held themselves accountable in any way for their positions.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

John Kerry, unfit as Commander In Chief. Next time you see a active duty soldier (preferably a Marine in a Wendy's ) ask them.

Kerry and his kind are responsible for more death and suffering than the US has ever even been accused of, but accountable? Ha! Laughing There are people who still think Joseph Stalin - and his political principles - were just fine. We all know what side of the fence such people are on: the same side as the most liberal Senator in the United States Senate!

The Left believes that the end justifies the means; so the heinous death of millions is irrelevant to them if they get the socialist/communist paradise they seek.

In other words, Leftists are psychopaths.

Kerry would never express sorrow for his "miscalculation" because he feels none.
