Somewhere I had Embarassed info on one of Kerry's Vet Coordinators who was also a participant in the Winter Soldier Investigations. Can anyone here supply the name of that individual?

The one I am familiar with is John Hurley, and he doesn't strike me as the type.

There's another guy who joined their vets team a few months ago, but I don't recall his name, not do I know anything about him. He should be listed somewhere.

Doug.

I don't believe it was Hurley. He is not shown as 'witness' at WSI

Thanks - John

Here's a small clip on Hurley. Come on guys, all you have to do is a google search on "John Hurley Vietnam" and you can find beau coop about him.

Quote:
John Kerry mentions his service in Vietnam so frequently that it has become a running joke on the campaign press plane. He seldom if ever mentions his postwar activities as a national coordinator and principal spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War, a group he says he quit in 1971 because he was concerned about its radical agenda. One reason may be that a credibility gap has started to widen over his antiwar history, and he clearly doesn't want to discuss it at length. His campaign is issuing misleading and evasive statements on his antiwar service in a way that would do the Pentagon spinners of the Johnson and Nixon administrations proud.

In fact, Mr. Kerry acts as if he can't remember much about the VVAW at all. This month his campaign several times said he "never, ever" attended a Kansas City meeting of antiwar leadership where members discussed and voted on an assassination plot against pro-war U.S. senators. Then, when confronted with FBI surveillance records of the meeting, the campaign acknowledged his presence as "an historical footnote." Mr. Kerry told a Boston radio station the whole story was "such ancient history." It was time to move on.

Not so fast. Mr. Kerry's campaign has done more than contradict itself. It has been in full coverup mode. John Musgrave, one of the six witnesses who placed Mr. Kerry at the Kansas City meeting, says the head of Veterans for Kerry, John Hurley, called him twice and pressured him to change the story he had already told a Kansas City Star reporter about the 1971 meeting.

According to Mr. Musgrave, Mr. Hurley told him that the senator "was definitely not in Kansas City." The New York Sun reports that Mr. Musgrave, who received three Purple Hearts in Vietnam, told Mr. Hurley that "I remember what I remember." Mr. Hurley then said, "Why don't you refresh your memory and call that reporter back?" Mr. Hurley says he thinks Mr. Musgrave is mistaken and was simply insisting Mr. Musgrave be very sure of his recollection. "I would apologize to John Musgrave if he thought in any way I was pressuring him," he told the Kansas City Star.

And this:

Quote:
John Hurley is the National Director of Veterans for Kerry and has been working full time as a volunteer in John Kerry’s presidential campaign for over a year. An attorney, Hurley is a Vietnam veteran who served with the U.S. Army in the Mekong Delta in 1967-1968. He was a Platoon Leader in Company B, 69th Engineer Battalion. He is 61 and lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with his wife, Anne Goggin, and their three children, Caitlin, Conor, and Julia. His passions are family, Cape Cod, and the Boston Red Sox.

In this interview with Daniel Redwood, Hurley describes Senator John Kerry’s military service as a swift boat officer in Vietnam, Kerry’s unique path as a decorated serviceman who came home to become a leading spokesman against what he considered an unjust war, the crucial role of veterans in his presidential campaign, and a wide range of other reasons to support Kerry in his campaign for president.

So, Hurley is a grunt that was in Nam before Kerry, is from Massacommunists, and buys the "war hero" and anti-war flip-flop crap because he's a leftist. Nuff Said......

My goodness, how selective your memory is. Forget your buddy Joe Bangert already? He is a Kerry vet coordinator.

BANGERT. My name is Joe Bangert. I'm a Philadelphia resident. I enlisted in the Marine Corps for four years in 1967. I went to Vietnam in 1968. My unit in Vietnam was Marine Observation Squadron Six with the First Marine Air Wing and my testimony will cover the slaughter of civilians, the skinning of a Vietnamese woman, the type of observing our squadron did in Vietnam and the crucifixion of Vietnamese either suspects or civilians in Vietnam.

Oh, man, that's gotta be good for a Presidential campaign, eh?

To have the reeking stench Evil or Very Mad of WSI following them around?

I wonder how much of Bangert's WSI testimony was verified?

Or was he one of those who declined to answer the NIS investigation even though they were offered immunity in advance?

And I wonder how long it'll be now before he steps down - for the good of the campaign?

That's the one. Give the man a cigar Exclamation

Thanks, Bandit.

I've got a little skirmish going with a Kerry loving slick driver that I needed Bangert's testimony for, but apparently I had an attack of CRAFT Sad

Come on Doug!

To squid boat drivers, what's the difference between a bridge builder and a bridge bomber? It's all about bridges over/under troubled waters. Laughing

Best personal...not political, regards,

Tom
