I saw part of one tonight... will catch it all on rerun later.
Have any of you who were there seen it? Is it
accurate?
I would think being from Ollie, it would be.
At least, as close as can be. _________________ Stevie

I only saw a brief view of tonight's show, but from what I've seen of War Stories, Ollie North gives a much fairer view of what we went through than did Peter Arnett and Richard Basehart in their 70's depiction, "Vietnam, the Ten Thousand Day War."
The History Channel still shows the reruns of that and it's still mostly a bunch of garbage. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

thanks Lew! I'm gonna see if I can catch the one on the History channel also... so I can see the difference.
I ended up missing the rerun last night also, but I'm sure it'll rerun again on Fox.
I think Ollie would be pretty fair to the best of his knowledge and what info, vets, clips etc that are available for him to research and use. _________________ Stevie

Stevie, if you want to watch that one, it comes on the History Channel at 6:30 AM, Saturday Mornings, Pacific Time. Overall, I felt the series was more sympathetic to the NVA and VC than to us. _________________ Clark County Conservative |
