Navy Commander Randy "Duke" Cunningham,
This is really sad if it proves to be true.

SAN DIEGO -- FBI agents searched the San Diego-area home of Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham on Friday, and served warrants in Washington, D.C., at the yacht where he has been living, an official said.
Agents also searched the offices of a defense firm whose founder bought the congressman's previous home, according to a U.S. Justice Department official who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The home sale, at what may have been an inflated price, is the subject of a federal investigation recently opened by federal prosecutors in San Diego.
"Today's operations are part of an ongoing law enforcement investigation being conducted by the U. S. Attorney's Offices in San Diego and Washington, D. C., the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, and the Internal Revenue Service.," San Diego FBI spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said. "Because it is a pending investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time."
Cunningham has said he showed "poor judgment" in selling his Del Mar home to Mitchell Wade, whose defense firm, MZM, also was searched by FBI agents Friday.
Wade bought the Del Mar home for $1.675 million in November 2003. Soon after, Wade put the house back on the market and it sold after nearly a year for $975,000 -- a loss of $700,000.
Cunningham has also lived part-time on Wade's boat, the Duke-Stir, docked on the Potomac River.
The congressman is a member of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, both of which oversee the kind of classified intelligence work Washington, D.C.-based MZM does for the military.
The Defense Department halted orders this month on a five-year contract that provided MZM with $163 million of revenue over its first three years after the department's inspector general found that it did not satisfy rules on competitiveness.
This week, MZM announced that James C. King, a retired three-star Army general, was taking over as president and chief executive -- a role held for years by Wade, who founded the company in 1993.

This is sad, and if true we will not stand by him like the dems did with Durbin. No we are men & women of honor and we do not stand behind those who dishonor the uniform or our nation. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.
