Father of 9/11 hijacker warns of 50-year war
11:56am 20th July 2005

"The father of one of the September 11 hijackers said today he had no sorrow for what had happened in London and claimed more terrorist attacks would follow.
Egyptian Mohamed el-Amir, whose son Mohamed Atta commandeered the first plane that crashed into the World Trade Centre in New York, said there was a double standard in the way the world viewed the victims in London and victims in the Islamic world."

And there are posts on this board concerned about Al-Jazeera comming to America?

It seems to me CNN & CBS and the rest of the mainstream media are doing a good job of getting the terrorist's messages out.

Oh ! and please don't forget our friends at Air America.

Oh that really ticks me off. Shouldn't his dad be held somewhere for conspiracy or something? He thinks just like his murderous son. Is there a law yet that holds the parents somehow responsible when their kids(I don't care what age) kill themselves and others in an act of terrorism? Evil or Very Mad I do hope our intel people are getting clues from that article to get him. I also think the Egyptian connection is something that needs more attention.

The CNN interview:

~snip~
"When asked if he would allow a CNN crew to videotape another interview with him, el-Amir said he would give his permission -- for a price of $5,000.

That money, he said, would not be kept for himself, but would be donated to someone to carry out another terror attack.

El-Amir said that $5,000 was about how much it would cost to finance another attack in London.

CNN's crew refused to pay for the interview and left after el-Amir's request.

It is CNN policy not to pay people for interviews."

~snip~
"The security guard for the apartment building said el-Amir had been under surveillance by Egyptian agents for several months after the September 11 attacks, but no one had been watching him recently."

Maybe we should donate to put a bullet in El Amir's head. That would send a nifty message. Wink
