I've already seen an ad ran on TV for his quick approval too.

Last night, I saw where our old advesary, Howard Dean, has came out and agreed with those twits at Moveon.org about the "timing" of the announcement.

Newsmax

Of course, we already know about Schumer's list of "questions." I've wrote my Senators (for what little good that will do) saying I expect Roberts to receive the same treatment afforded Judge Ginsberg. LOL, mine are Patty Osama Mama Murray and Maria Cantwell.

My gut tells me this process will redefine donnybrook all over again. Wink

Did anyone hear this on Hannity's show tonight:

Quote:
"Some [of his questions] I totally disagree with," Hatch of Utah said. "Some I think are dumbass questions, between you and me. I am not kidding you. I mean, as much as I love and respect you, I just think that's true."

A stunned Schumer asked if he heard the chairman correctly, to which Hatch said yes. Again, Schumer asked Hatch if he would like to "revise and extend his remark," congressional speak for change his mind.

A former trial attorney, Hatch replied: "No, I am going to keep it exactly the way it is. I mean, I hate to say it. I mean, I feel badly saying it between you and me. But I do know dumbass questions when I see dumbass questions

I heard it on Seans radio show today.

Just so everyone knows, this was an exchange from back in 2003 when Roberts was nominated to the Federal Appeals Court. Personally, I expect no less from Schumer today Rolling Eyes
