Rush has a link to a sports website where officials estimate the Superdome has sustained 100 million dollars worth of damage. I put pen to paper and figured it comes out to $ 4,000 damage done by each of the 25,000 who sought refuge there! |

The dems would like us to think that socialism is the answer. Not so at all. "Remember the Superdome" Socialism is truly much more expensive than free enterprise. |

Are you blaming the "refugees" for the damage to the roof as well?
Bit of a stretch, isn't it?
But there is a point to be made. I saw footage last night of a volunteer in the Astrodome whose job was to lug a huge garbage bag around, picking up trash from the floor _________________ Former "War Criminal" |

1991932,
It was totally unPC to have noticed but that volunteer appeared to be a white, middle class, suburban, housewife. She was walking up and down between the rows of cots picking up trash as the depositers of that trash sat there and watched. Will it rub off?
The network need not have shown that clip. I wonder why they let it through. |

Might it be because they're getting a good look at the mentality that survives in New Orleans and maybe deciding Bush wasn't entirely to blame for the mess?
They're trying to get them out of the Astrodome as fast as they can, but it won't be fast enough to suit some people. Uncle Sugar and the Texas taxpayers are footing the bills for this, along with private faith-based organizations and major corporations.
And a great many of the evacuees now call themselves former residents of New Orleans. They're not going back, something the liberal media no doubt has a hard time understanding. |
