NPR announced breathlessly today that a new poll by NYT/CBS (certainly fair and objective pollsters  ) showed that a majority of Americans thought that we should get our troops out of Iraq NOW.
It's clear that the Kerrys, Fondas, Sheehans and the Dems are once again trying to create the same bugout movement that forced our retreat from 'Nam even as we were on the road to victory there.
If such should take place, I can just hear Zarqawi, the General Giap of Iraq, saying, "What happened? They had us on the run. Stupid Americans."
This movement toward surrender cannot be allowed to succeed. I don't think it will under GW. But the thought of it makes for nightmares.

While it's clear this is what these ninnies are trying to do, you must also consider the source of this poll. I would be surprised if they ever announced any other result.
Fair and objective is two words not in their dictionaries.
If you take a poll amongst war protestors, what else would you report? |
