Armybrat, I heard somewhere yesterday that Earl the pearl went after dems in the good old days when there was no Repubs, when there were just lefty dems and righty dems. I think this dude has major issues. Rolling Eyes

I live in Austin and I have been a registered Republican since I first registered to vote. I have worked elections, gone to conventions and it has been only these past several elections that I have been totally disgusted with what I have seen and heard. If there were a legitimate 3rd party here in Texas you can rest assure I would join that party. I am sick of the way quite a few of the Republican politicians have the attitude that since they are now in power they can and will do as they d*** well please and if you don't like it, tough. They are of the mistaken idea that they are untouchable. They are no better than the "dirty" Democrats maybe worse because they think themselves so self-righteous. I have more respect for Ronnie Earle than I have for most of the top Texas Republican politicians combined. Wrong is wrong no matter what political party does it and I can not stand behind a party just because it's Republican and put my head in the sand and cover my ears because it's a Democrat who is bringing the charges. Republicans can be just as evil as Democrats. And that is what is happening here.
