Charles Krauthammer, talking on Brit's show tonight, came up with a chilling scenario - that the Democrats' ultimate goal is impeachment of GWB. Krauthammer, for whom I have great respect, noted that IF the President deliberately misled, lied, or manipulated leading to the current war, it would have been treason and cause for impeachment.
If the Congress, particularly the House of Representatives were to fall into Democrat hands in '06, an impeachment inquiry would be a near certainty. We all know it's pure BS but the Dems would still make a blustery show of hearings, testimony, etc., which would paralyze the nation with the help of the MSM.
Already, since Bush's speech, the Dems are saying that they never received any intelligence (thread on that subject in this forum).
We must all work as we never have in the past to ensure retention of a majority of Republicans in the Senate and House. This could get brutal. Facts never stood in the way of Dems making trouble. And, they are literally ACHING to avenge the rightful impeachment of Clinton.

You are spot on. Rush has said this in no uncertain terms as the goal of the Soros/ Left wing Moveon.org agenda. The answer is for the Republicans to stand tall and not become squishy or aplogetic. If they do, they show weakness and are done for. Pay heed you RINOs. Given a choice between a RINO and a Liberal Dem, their base will take a Liberal Dem. Given a choice between a Liberal RINO and a Liberal Dem, the Republican base will say no.
