xRepublican uses the term 'slander" to describe our criticizms of John Kerrys showboating his VN Veteran status.
Yet Kerry slandered the Vietnam Veteran in a time when they were fighting against a brutal communist tyrany. The communists used Kerrys words to mock and demoralize American prisoners of war. And Kerry is also partly responsible for the slandered image of the Viet Nam Vet as a psychopathic baby killer and loser, that was popular in the 70s.
Kerry stated the bood libel that the US(armed forces) were "murdering" 200,000 Vietnamese every year in his testimony in 1971.
There is a huge difference between protesting the war because you thought it a terrible waste of blood and treasure, and protesting the war alongside admitted supporters of the communists such as Jane Fonda.
Kerry did the later and trumpeted their slanders against the US Armed forces to further his political ambitions in 71 and 72.
Now that the Vietnam Veteran is respectable, Kerry, who described the Vietnam soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines as mass murderers in 1971 now showboats them his band of brothers for political gain!!!!
If Kerrys Vietnam protests were so noble, why then were they entirely ommitted by Kerry in his nomination acceptance speech? Why were they not in the convention bio of Kerry?
If Kerry believed that US troops "murdered" 200,000 Vietnamese every year in Vietnam, why has he remained silent about any US "murders" in Iraq?
The man is craven to the core. |

Hey, XRepub, I take it from your posting in this thread that you're going to join the many thousands of anti-Kerry vets in DC, right? Thanks, we appreciate it! Of course you DO have to be a vet to show up ... you ARE a veteran, right? Right? I can't hear you .... _________________ Walt Jones (USMC, '65 - '69) It says much about the person who defends a man with no honor. |
