My father, and 82nd Airborne veteran, passed away this year. This last weekend I picked up several boxes of books from his home, which was sold. I have saved what I want and have to dispose of the rest. My plan is to put them out in return for donations where I work (I work for the Army, with lots of Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard folks around). I want to list the donations as going to something supporting the troops, preferably 82nd Airborne. I found the 82nd Airborne Division Association Educational Fund, which would be OK, but does anyone know an organization which provides support to the currently deployed troopers? |

www.soldiersangels.com does an excellent job of helping out the troops. I adopt from them but they have numerous programs to help. Wounded Warrior Project is another. |
