San Fransisco has decided to not allow military recruiters into their schools anymore.
San Fransisco can do without any of my money anymore.
Be real nice if truckers would decide that they don't need to haul freight into or out of San Fransisco anymore.
The trucker boycott won't happen, but it's sure nice to think about it.

You know, of course, that they're idiots, and that their vote means nothing.

So, they won't allow recruiters in their schools, and they think that makes them smarter than the average military recruiter, and morally superior.

Well, you know where I have seen an Army recruiting office? At a strip center. I'm sure there are some in malls, as well. And if I were a patrotic San Franciscan businessperson (I'm sure there *are* some, although few and far between) and I owned any property near a school, I would invite all four of the services...five counting the national guard...to set up shop in my property, and make sure the word got out that any student who was seriously interested in joining the military would know there was a place nearby where they could get information and join up.

Somehow, I have the feeling they're not going to make a dent in the number of recruitments and re-enlistments. I know that this is intended to be a serious slap in the face of our military, but I have to laugh when I think of how many ways there are for people to circumvent this stupid law of theirs.

San Francisco is a lost cause and will go away when the big one hits. Nancy Pelosi will be homeless after God takes her home in an imminent domain divine action and redistricts California.

I am hopelessly unPC and must be a typical, sexist, uncaring, homophobic beer drinking male chauvinist pig. Last time I went to San Fran I found it offensive to see men holding hands, fondling and kissing each other in public and ogling me like was next. I hated the dirty stinking youths and adults panhandling me on almost every corner, prices were outrageous, the 'regular' people seemed to have an 'anything goes' weirdness about them I could not deal with. UC Berzerkey at the time had some clown who thought he had a right to go to class wearing nothing but sandals and hippie types daily walked up and down Telegraph Ave. butt naked. This was 10 years ago. I can't imagine how it is now. A weird place.
