Hannity tonight featured a sign displayed at some Lowe's Home Improvement Centers.
The sign said, in English, "Here now! Fresh cut Holiday trees."
Just below that was this message, in Spanish, "¡Ahora aqui! Arboles de Navidad recién cortados."
Of course, "Navidad" means "Christmas." By the way, guest Boortz acquitted himself magnificently in the argument with Death Head Colmes, pointing out that the store carried no holiday tree stands; only Christmas tree stands.
Beam me up, Scotty. Quickly!

I wonder when the MSM and the ACLU are going to require a substitute word for holiday after all the word holiday comes from the Old English for Holydays.

When the dunderheads say Happy Holiday or refer to Holiday, ask what Holiday it is and what it means. A genuine Lib will gag and be unable to talk. Those who have not drunk the Kool-aide will pause to think.
By the Way, for the seriously uniformed to stupid, Ramadan was over at the beginning of Nov. this year. Kwanzaa remains a phony made up pseudo-holiday made up by a racist, criminal, thug named Ron Karenga. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |

I donno. I got a "Happy Holiday" from a Salvation Army bell
ringer in front of the supermarket yesterday evening. Now I
would assume that a Salvation Army bell ringer isn't an anti-
Christian revisionist. That would really be a mixed message. _________________ Tin Can Sailor |

"Happy Holidays" (note Plural) has always been fine when mixed with Merry Christmas considering New Year's eve soon follows and and our Jewish friends celebrate Hannakuh. When Happy Holiday is a filler for Merry Christmas we have something subtle but slightly different. A shame this difference has to be made. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |
