I believe these men are absolutely honest and sincere about their claims of Senator John Kerry. I think the best way to make this a national issue is to get all of these men together and let Fox News film them while being subject to a reputable polygraph. After they have passed with flying colors, they can issue the challenge to Senator John Kerry and his supporters. They can also challenge him to fill out the simple two page form to get the missing information needed about his military service and medals. [/b][/code] |

JMO, but polygraph tests are notoriously unreliable - I don't believe in them at all, any more and neither do many people. They have value in in a very limited set of circumstances with certain personalities. Men who feel the pressure of trying to correct the record for all the soldiers who fought in Vietnam are going to be prone to burden and emotion-induced reactions that can show up as false-guilty results on polygraphs.
I wouldn't even ask that John Kerry sit for a polygraph about his version of events first because the usefulness and worth of these tests has been called into question and debunked. And second because I believe that Kerry has lived with his version of events for so long that he probably believes that his version is the true one. This is the type of personality who passed polygraphs, because they have no accessible guilt.
If he really understood and felt the magnitude of the betrayal that he dealt his fellow Swifts and to his whole generation of soldiers, I'm not sure any human could bear the burden of that kind of guilt. Instead, he continues to turn these questions about his activities into attacks by the right-wing machine.
Anyway, that's my take on the idea of polygraphs. Looks good on the surface, but those are not the "guilt finders" that they have been so long touted for being. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Thank you for opening my eyes to something I would have never thought about. You are right. I do think it would be advantageous to call Kerry out and have him fill out the forms to make public the information regarding his medals and career while in the Navy. |

An easier way for it all to be cleared up, in either direction, would be for Kerry to authorize total release of his military records, in my opinion. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Kerry attached to that polygraph, he would bounce around like a fart in a skillet. Taking that comment from my late granny.
