Fact is, New Orleans is in shambles and hopefully this is a minor mistake.

25,000 bail each person for the charge of looting. I was at the courthouse early this morning and observed the public defender and the states prosecutor. They looked like best friends and joked for about an hour before the prisoners were led into the room at which point they assumed a serious face and then resumed their jovial nature with the judge upon his entrance.



Edit: If the workers were looting they will find justice and hopefully learn a very valuable lesson.
