At the request of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the US Army Foreign Military Studies Office has created this portal to provide the general public with access to unclassified documents and media captured during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The US Government has made no determination regarding the authenticity of the documents, validity or factual accuracy of the information contained therein, or the quality of any translations, when available. Users who come across documents they feel are inappropriately released may contact the responsible officers at docex@center.osis.gov. The ODNI press release and public affairs contact information is available at http://www.odni.gov/

This appears to be a real treasure trove for those who enjoy wading through and reading really boring documents.
Additionally, they seem to have a bandwidth problem as it is frequently quite difficult to connect to the site.

I 100% agree with you FDL. There will be gold in them thar documents, but that still doesn't make them any less boring. When I was in-country VN, and the PCFs weren't going on patrol for a while, I used to get loaned out to the Naval Intel Officer in Vung Tau. He would give me a magnifying glass and a 20 pound box of 8x10 glossies of aerial photos. I would then spend literallly hours checking them for enemy movements, bases, and anything else. We occasionally did find gold and were able to muster forces to check it out. If anyone today were to walk through the door with a box of intel photos and a magnifying glass, I'd probably be running down the street screaming like a lunatic.
Boring is boring. It may indeed be useful, but it's still boring.

March 2001 Document: Saddam Regime Recruits Suicide Terrorists to Hit US Interests (Translation)
Pentagon/FMSO Iraq Pre-War documents ^

Page 6 from document BIAP 2003-000654 is a Top Secret letter dated March/11/2001 six months prior to 9/11/2001, proves that not only Saddam Regime supported terrorists organization like Hamas and Al Qaeda as we have learned from other documents but also they were recruiting Suicide Terrorist Bombers to hit US interests. Saddam Regime was a TERRORIST REGIME and there was no other way but to destroy it after 9/11.

Beginning of the translation of page 6 from document BIAP 2003-000654

Quote:

End of translation of page 6

darn, this won't jibe with the rhetoric of the liberals that Saddam wasn't an imminent threat to US interests
