Joe Lieberman conceded the Democratic race and will run as an independent. I am a republican and not in his state but I would vote for him if I could. He is honest to his values. Even if I don't agree with all of them, he stands up and speaks his point and means it. He should switch parties to the GOP as should Zell Miller.

They are the last of the true old time Democrats that were the loyal opposition. When I was a child in the 1940’s my relatives all voted the Democrat Party ticket. Today, the ones still alive all vote the Republican ticket. My relatives haven’t changed in their views, both parties have moved far to the left. In the 1940’s, W’s current policies would have been considered moderate Democrat policies.
Joe and Zell should leave the dark side and move to the light. _________________ I was going to become an anarchist, but they had too many rules. |

It is really dispicable and sad that the loony left has done this to a member of their own party. It just serves to prove how low they truly are and that no one in the Democratic party is safe if they differ from the leftist views.
I ditto Joe is a good man as is Zell Miller. It is too bad their likes are not a majority amongst Democrats. _________________

I'm afraid that the candidacy of Ned Lamont is built largely on anti-semitism. I literally felt a chill last night seeing Lamont's 'victory' speech in which he was flanked by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, both known unabashed anti-semites. Maxine Waters was also there but Sharpton and Jackson nerfed her out of the tableau.
Funded by Soros (a self-hating Jew) and the Moveon bloggers, can such a candidacy succeed, even in a blue state like Connecticut? I don't think so. I sincerely hope I'm right. Otherwise, this nation is taking a very unsavory course.

Yes, I felt bad seeing the news last night. besides the two rev's Danny Glover was here also !!!!!
But it will get interesting ! I know I will vote for him as a replublican in CT.
and if he can keep his core dems together he just might make it as a Independant.
The GOP candiate is in trouble already gambling at the casino under an assume name I think !!!
I'm sure the rev's got a few good love offerings to appear on lamonts behalf !!!
The Rev Al can get another expensive suit !! _________________ Leeman

and today Thursday Aug 17th Former Senator John Edwards will appear at a campaign rally in New Haven, CT. on behalf of Ned Lamont !!
Senator Hillary Clinton had her Political action committee send Lamont a $5,000 check the day after the Election.
There is a group "Iraq vets for Lieberman" they came out to support him, but the press & Dems brushed if off at a Swiftboat tactic. The Vets said Lieberman supported them they are going to support him.
The reference to the swiftvets can be read at www.stamfordadvocate.com
