Too much material to repeat in here, but go to Michelle Malkin's site for a feast of amateurishly staged pictures from Lebanon, bought hook, line and sinker by the US MSM.

Yeah, I see by the www.DrudgeReport.com that now its AP's turn. Thank God for bloggers and skeptics.

The MSM appently hasn't come to grips with the realization that they can get caught. They had free-reign for years and now are in denial about the public's ability to actually catch them in the act of story fabrication, so every time they get caught its a complete surprise.

This is like a group of small children thinking well if he can and gets away with it then I will too.
And then comes the temper tantrum when caught. Almost all parents will recognize this and apply proper punishment.
The MSM needs a good paddling and to be grounded for oh I don't know, maybe FOREVER???? _________________ "The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I’m here to help." Ronald Reagan |

There's a good little rundown on some of the faux-tos here:
http://www.aish.com/movies/PhotoFraud.asp
It's only a couple of minutes and shouldn't take long to download even for dial-up connections. A "Pally-wood" theme, but more concise.
One zinger from the "filmette" - If you don't read the news, you're uninformed; if you do read the news, you're misinformed. (Mark Twain)
Can't remember where I heard it - maybe Rush 24/7? - but apparently, photographers and journalists are being threatened with immediate shooting if they take pictures of rockets headed toward Israel. Anyone else get more on that story?
Someone described a Hizb'allah staged photo-op that consisted of shots of ambulances taking off - the idea being that these ambulances were rushing to rescue casualties. Instead, the ambulances were rushing to the end of the block and coming right straight back to be photographed "leaving," again.
I can't help but think that the media has really hurt themselves with this kind of phony stuff. They've made themselves a laughingstock with these stunts. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I found it: RUSH
Quote: | RUSH: Right. Okay, so the Drive-By Media once again! I predicted this to you people. I said they'd circle the wagons around this guy, and they're circling the wagons. This is the same lame excuse the executive vice president of AP gave for these fraudulent photos. (paraphrased) "Well, you know, it's such a competitive environment, and he wants to excel." He's got an agenda! Can we be honest about it? What's competitive about this when you're in the war zone over there with the Hezbos? More and more reporters are starting to open up, by the way, about how the Hezbos threaten to kill them if they videotape and show pictures of the Hezbo rockets being launched. |
