I flew with McPeak on the Sac Air Borne Command Post. He was not one of my favorite officers..To get promoted under Clinton the ones who did were more Political.. Politics during that time was the key to success...Some chose it over just serving their Nation..

Probably for the same reason that liberal members of Congress are trying to strongarm Rupert Murdoch into making Fox News a liberal media outlet.
They're afraid of that which doesn't fit their agenda.

For years, it has been mainly the left's message getting air time. Now that Fox has come along and is truly giving both sides, they can't stand the competition.
Same with Kerry's message. Democrats are used to carrying favored status and now, they don't have it. We are at war and they need to appear strong to the nation, hence, they manufacture a "war hero" in John Kerry. Since they didn't bother to check his background, they now have egg on their face and in true liberal form, their only recourse is to silence the other side.
I'm afraid the attacks against SVBT and Bush will only grow. Some networks are airing what McCain is saying much louder than airing what he is responding too. Left wingers are hellbent that we become the United Soviet States of America. Kerry just might lead us right into that, if he gets the chance.
