Post election blues aren't assuaged by the unending promos for a NYT/NatGeo production on Discovery. Supposedly it examines vets winning congressional seats. All Democrats and all heros like Max Cleland, only one I recognised. Heaven knows where the editorial line will wander. Presumably Rs are all chickenhawks without military service.

The ad opens by saying 50 vets won election and this is the most ever in US history. They might have checked the mid-terms of 1866 or 1946 though of course congress didn't seat 50 in 1790. If they are going to start with specious claims it would be best wear your waders should you watch.
