While I totally agree with the concpet of this email, I find it insulting that Kerry makes the plea, after all the slanderous staements he has made over the last 30 odd years.

There's no such thing as "doing enough" to stand by the men and women of our armed services -- especially at a time when so many of them are making extraordinary sacrifices in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
We stand by them by demanding a policy worthy of their sacrifice. And we stand by them in smaller, personal ways as well.
As you and your family celebrate the holidays, I urge you to lend your immediate support to two charities delivering hands-on help to ease the burden our soldiers are so bravely bearing.
Anyone who has ever visited a military hospital knows the courage and resilience of injured soldiers and their families. The long process of recuperation can be especially difficult without loved ones by a soldier's side. That's why the Fisher House provides a home away from home, free of charge, for the families of injured soldiers.
Your act of year-end generosity in support of Fisher House can help families overcome the prohibitive costs of lodging near U.S. military bases and military hospitals around the world. Is there a more important gift to provide injured soldiers and their families than the opportunity to be together when they need each other the most?
