Every Christmas is the same…

For those not home but still remain…


So many years they’ve held out hope

But only God has helped them cope!


Their hearts remember better days…

As their former life is now a haze!


They can’t believe they’ve been forgotten…

Could their country truly be so rotten?


They’re POW/MIAs…

Who need our help, and not our praise!


Let’s find each one and bring them home…

And honor them in flesh or bone!


Their families still won’t say goodbye…

For hope remains until they die!


And as the world observes the "Season"…

Setting them free makes all the reasons!


The "spoils of war" should not be men…

But hatred and vengeance so often win!


What power can a country hold?

By imprisoning a hero until they’re old?


Let’s free them all this Christmas Day…

For they’ve paid dearly…for the U.S.A.!
