If you do a book search for "Michael Kranish" on amazon.com, the Kerry Edwards book shows up - even though Kerry and Edwards are now listed as the authors.
If you click on John Kerry's name under the title, "The New Soldier" is the first book on the list.
But no image available? Why not? There was an image available a few months back! Hmmmm.... _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Barnes and Nobles also carries the book in question. It has a different cover than the Amazon version. If you click on the cover and enlarge it, you'll see, in black and whitte, introduction by "Michael Kranish, The Boston Globe"
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/textbooks/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=zg6UYdh9QP&isbn=1586483145&TXT=Y&itm=2
The Globe, however, quotes the following in the story by Susan Milligan:
Quote: | "When PublicAffairs subsequently struck an agreement with the Kerry campaign to do an official campaign book, Kranish's relationship with the project immediately ended," Baron said.
Peter Osnos, publisher of PublicAffairs, said both Drudge and Amazon, the online bookseller peddling the upcoming Kerry-Edwards book, had made a mistake in suggesting Kranish had written its introduction.
"As far as I can tell, if there's any malign intent here, it was someone making Drudge think Michael was somehow doing something for [Kerry's] campaign," Osnos said. |
The Globe article can be found here:

Per the Barnes & Nobles site, and the black & white type on the cover which says Michael Kranish wrote the introduction, this is just flat not true that they ended their relationship with Kranish |
