John Murtha and his league of cowards are going to spearhead our defeat in Iraq just as his democrat cohorts did to us in Vietnam. It's time to start a campaign against this man before he shames our military again!! Evil or Very Mad Any Suggestions!!

How 'bout we take up a collection and buy him a Muslim "prayer rug", and send it to his office?

Shouldn't cost too much, even including the postage. Count me in for 20 bucks.

I can almost understand Pelosi, she's old, senile, from San Fran, not a veteran, career politician.
But Murtha is a total piece of ****! A veteran himself who did combat duty in Nam.
He WAS, a US Marine, US Marines are not traitors, US Marines don't commit treason.
How many times in his life did he take the oath we all took at one time or another to:
"PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES FROM ENEMIES, FOREIGN OR WITHIN"?
Is this how a US Marine defends The Constitution of Our Blessed Country?
No sir, he became one of the "enemies from within" that he should have been defending us from!
And as far as I'm concerned he no longer deserves to be called a US Marine, that title belongs to Patriots.
Maybe someday God will forgive him, I never will.

John Murtha has the distinction of being one of the very very chosen few, to earn the title of EX- Marine

it seems to me somewhere along the line of hundreds of yrs in office...
Murtha found out from Kerry how to fix himself up some paperwork to get / say he had medals...etc.
He invisions himself the Kerry of this war!
I have some other ideas on that but better not post 'em...

I'll just say that him coming 'out' like this sort of reinforces Kerry (to
those who don't know of / about Kerry) as being able to be against the
war/ hurt our country and troops and still be considered a war hero.

They needed someone with a war/service background to give them credibility.
Didn't work for a lot of us...
why some people think that because you served in svc / war you can do
no wrong I'll never know - and aren't they just the same ones screaming about how horrible some of our troops are to the enemy at gitmo etc...
Murtha was screaming it about those young men killing some Iraqi people.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor—he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation—he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city—he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared." (Cicero--42 B.C.)

Murtha is shameful. Pray that he will see the error of his ways...He's lost, and not one of us anymore. That was a different person that was a U.S. Marine.

One of my biggest disappointments during the Vietnam imbroglio was hearing General David M. Shoup criticize the effort.

Although he had retired to his farm in West Virginia, the press dutifully reported his opposition. It was difficult to ignore the retired Commandant of the Marine Corps who had earned the Medal of Honor at Tarawa.

General Shoup was a true hero and a Marine. I don't mean to sully his name by mentioning him in the same thread with John Murtha. My point is that even Marines are human and some need more forgivness than others.

Semper Fidelis.
