Unfortunately I just caught the tail-end of the VVLF presentation with Col. Bud Day, Sam Johnson, MaryJane McManus and Carlton Sherwood holding court. Hopefully a video will be made available somewhere.
Keep an eye out.

The "CPAC Afternoon Session" presentation by Col. Bud Day, Sam Johnson, MaryJane McManus and Carlton Sherwood, entitled ""The Left’s Repeated Campaign Against the American Soldier," is now available for viewing at C-SPAN. The presentation commences with an introduction by Carlton Sherwood at approximately 1:30:00 into the video. Woot! |

Since he announced his intention to run for President I have been pretty enthused by Duncan Hunter. I saw his speech at CPAC and continue to like what he says.
However, he gets no mention - media, strawpolls, etc.
Does anyone else look favorably on his run for President ? |

At this point, the more the merrier. I confess to not being very familiar with him and he seems (right now) to be branded as a "one issue" candidate. He'll obviously need to counter that perception but he has plenty of time to possibly broaden his appeal and emerge from the pack. Looking at his website, he certainly has a pedigree attractive to conservative thought.
A quick look shows him at around 5% support. |
