Quote: | Bombshell Cripples Case Against Haditha Marines

There has been an astonishing development in the case against soldiers accused of murder in Haditha, Iraq.
All charges are being dropped against Sgt. Sanick P. Dela Cruz in the Haditha incident where 24 Iraqi's were killed during an insurgant ambush against the Marines.
The development is a strong indication that the prosecutors have a very weak case against all the defendants, lawyers for the some of the accused say.

Hoo Rah !!!!!!
These marines deserve medals and our deepest gratitude.
They joined as volunteers, have served honorably and have fought well.
They have been the target of a smear campaigne perpetrated by the MSM in its quest to tarnish our military. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

I've never thought very highly of the JAG Corps or the NIS. The less the contact with them the better. _________________ Tin Can Sailor |

Looks like the Murtha of all Bombshells.....about time. Guess Murtha will be apologizing to the Marines real soon. I won't be holding my breath.

Great news. I would like to add that the prosecutions of men and women in war time for fighting the enemy if allowed to continue, would and will destroy our ability to fight.
Furthermore, I strongly believe these incidents on foreign lands with a declared enemy should be kept from the public and dealt with internally. We do not as Americans have a right to information during war time, which can give aid to our enemies and cause damage to our nation. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

This IS good news. Maybe there's hope for military justice. Billy Mitchell, the CO of the Indianapolis and the sorry farce after the Iowa explosion left little room for it. _________________ "KILL ALL THE LAWYERS!"

No, it will not destroy their ability to fight. It might make them hesitate and might risk the loss of their life, but reaction and training will over ride that. _________________ Terry Boone PCF 90
