Quote: | Lawmakers to fast-track protest law in advance of soldier's service(Hartford-AP) -- Legislation that would limit protests at funerals is headed to Governor Rell for her signature.
It will become effective the minute she signs it.
State legislators and the governor teamed up Tuesday to fast-track the legislation after learning that a radical Kansas church is planning to protest the funeral of a Norwich soldier on Friday.
The move comes even though the legislature already passed such a bill. But the legislation is not set to take effect until October 1st.

And finally reason has been brought to the table.
It's sad that this has to be made a law at all.
May all members of the Westboro Baptist Church rot in Hell. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

I watched the video and the reporter stated that the bill would restrict any protests from within 100 feet of any such service.
100 FEET!? I hope she meant yards |
