SDS (Swiftvet Derangement Syndrome) appears to have overcome Michael R. Blood of the AP, as evidenced here...(emphasis mine)
Quote: | Backer of Swift Boat ads has tie to law firm pushing vote change
By MICHAEL R. BLOOD, AP Political Writer
Monday, September 3, 2007
Lawyers behind a California ballot proposal that could benefit the 2008 Republican presidential nominee have ties to a Texas homebuilder who financed attacks on Democrat John Kerry's Vietnam War record in the 2004 presidential campaign.
Charles H. Bell and Thomas Hiltachk's law firm banked nearly $65,000 in fees from a California-based political committee funded almost solely by Bob J. Perry that targeted Democrats in 2006. Perry, a major Republican donor, contributed nearly $4.5 million to the group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth that made unsubstantiated but damaging attacks on Kerry three years ago.

However, I do note some progress for Mr. Blood towards planting his feet in reality-based reporting. The very fact that he acknowledges the SVPT revelations on Kerry were "damaging" is a concession rarely made by the hard left and the Kerry psychophants (and yes, I know that's spelled incorrectly)

It would almost seem that the leftists are scared to death of another Swift vets style expose' of one of their pet liberals.
Obviously, the Swifties were much more effective than the left admits. That must be why they continue to cry "unsubstantiated claims" when they know they were well founded.
And who says liberals don't believe in preemption? _________________ Clark County Conservative |

I repeat something I said a long time ago:
The MSM should be sued over this "unsubstantiated" lie, as it defames the Swiftvets - and here's a place to start.

Lew,
The Swifties were unique in history and the Left and much of the Right still does not get it.
It had nothing to do with the election.
It had nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats.
It was an opportunity for the Swifties to administer justice to one in their own ranks who had turned traitor and brought disgrace to their unit. It was the restoration of the honor that had taken by false accusations uttered by the traitor against them more than thirty years before.
