...and thanks to the Swiftvets & POW's for their foresight in electing to maintain both the main website and the forum and to our webmaster wizard for his work in getting this enterprise back online.

While it was down, I got to thinking about just how many broken links this hiatus had created on the web. I'd venture it probably numbers in the hundreds of thousands...and I hit on quite a few of them personally in my web travels this past week.

Welcome back to all our forum members and SVPT supporters.

It is good to be back. I must have checked the links two or three times each day while the site was performing damage control.
I even went to the "Way Back Machine" over at www.archive.org to see if I could glean an email address or website for the admins or other users. I contacted LewWaters but he didn't know much more than I did.
With the site unavailable, it was like some part of my daily activities was missiing.
It really is good to be back.

Well Jack, I was about to post a message after the website went down but...uh...well, you know Wink

I did note that Scott Swett had posted something over at Free Republic and I figured that would get some pretty good circulation...sorry if you missed that one...and it IS good to be back Wink

Whew. You guys had me worried there for a minute. I got the info on your site over on ChronWatch. BTW the email address I had for admin didn't work. Is there a way to email admin if the site goes down?

Had me all freaked out. contacted the member whose e-mail I had and they were as much in the dark as I was.
Don't know about the rest of the members who come here on an almost daily basis but I sure missed it when it was gone.
Sounds like a country song.

Anyhow, so glad to click on the link and it come back up. My thanks to those that made it happen.

It's hard to believe that it was 3 years ago this month when a "few" of us were at the I Hate John Kerry rally in DC. It's the same type of day today, weather-wise here in New England.

Yes, it's comforting to have the site back. It's like a morning cup of coffee.
