Not sure if his intent was noble or dishonest, yet he captured some really powerful photos.

The photo of the marine being loaded while civilians look out the windows is one of the most powerful images I have ever seen.

This series of photos says to me - professionalism, maturity, sacrifice, civility, honor, love, service, tradition, courage and strength.

I agree to the question of the photographers intent. It seems these were very private photos that should have been reserved for family and friends.

Having a cousin that served in Iraq. He was wounded in Iraq in 2005 and after treatment in San Diego Naval Hospital served as an honor guard for Marines in Illinois.

The emence love and character shown by the Marines for their fallen commrads is totally inspiring. We need to remember all these heros in our prayers.
