Did you watch it to the end where it shows the sponsor, mercola.com? A vitamin salesman. Granted, we have problems with our health industry, such as the FDA, lawyers, insurance companies, primitive knowledge and vitamin sales people. We are simply not very advanced technologically in regards to medicine. Like Dr. McCoy declares in Star Trek IV, we are barbaric in cutting people open. Our largest problem is lawyers. They are bloodsucking parasites on the system. Insurance companies come in second. In a free market capitalist system, insurance companies should go bankrupt when they are poorly run, not given the ability to continually defer costs through political means to the consumer. Vitamin salesmen. This guy blasts the medical field then has us go to his website where, voila, eat his pill and be better? Damn charlatan.
Technologically, we will just have to grow with the pains until we eventually reach a point where... Do we even want to get to this point? As for lawyers? We need shame as a powerful societal force as it once was. All Insurance should be voluntary and for those who abuse the system we must have societal shame. We need to get back to ethics and morality with shame as a deterrent within society and not the government with unenforced laws and more prisons for the poor. This means we must get back to our Judeo-Christian roots. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."
