Hello my friends,
It has been a long time since I visited here.
I am sickened by the thought of McCain winning the nomination.
I know there are many here who remember what happened in late October and early November in 2004.
Our press conference at the Nam memorial, the less than honorable discharge we were going to break to the media, and then the abrupt stop that was put to it because if we continued, John McCain threatened us directly, that he would endorse Kerry the Monday before election day over W.

If anyone else remembers that time and what we went through and if you want to help me use it to boost Mitt Romney at this crucial time, please speak up!

I will never forget that day.

not that I needed it to dislike McCain... I'm getting sick of elections where our choices seem to be bad and worse....

Was there a posting on this forum about McCain's threat? I just remember that many of the things that Chief and others turned up about Kerry were ignored by the MSN and there just wasn't time for anything to get traction. I'd sure like to know the source for this!

Minnie, the Swifties gave us all an excellent example of what we all can do, if we are willing to pay the price. They didn't serve with McCain. Still, McCain's Senate Record is out there for all of us to spread around and by pass the leiberal media that is promoting him.

It is time that we all stood up for conservatism and stopped waiting on and calling upon others to do it for us.

We have internet connections, links to local media and friends. Call them, write letters, blog, whatever, just spread the word. Do the job the media won't do.

As far as McCain making threats over Kerry's discharge, I sure don't recall that and do not have anything on it saved. I'd sure like to find something about it, if it happened.

I don't remember a threat in the days before the election of 2004.
As for this election, I'm still weighing my choices (McCain, Hillary, Obama, Mitt, Huck) and I don't know who to vote for, but it ain't McCain.
McCain is nuts, a certifiable whack job and whoever I vote for will be based on
"Evil is safer than crazy."

glad I'm not the only one who didn't remember it - my memory is so bad tho - I've given up even attempting to remember how old my kids are...
