.

With all the media visibilty being given to the SBVFT sailors in the TV and press.

Has any one else noticed the overwhelming silence of Kerry's happy band?

Wade Sanders, Skip Barker, Wasser, Alston, Short, Zaladonis, etc etc

With the exception of Rassman's "deer in the headlights" performance, none
of the other "brothers who were on his boat" seem enthusiastic about telling
their side of the story to counter the eyewitness accounts by the SBVFT folks.

Where are they?

Meeting with the Dem handlers to get their stories straight ................ ??

Meeting with the Dem lawyers to discuss their options ........................ ??

Waiting for the next shoe to drop when the book is widely read ......... ??

Or are there cracks starting to show in the non-specifics of their story line?

What kind of advice did you give these guys Ras? Stick to the talking points?

I guess we will just have to wait to see if they re-appear or just dis-appear.

You can "bet yer bippy" that the SBVFT will not disappear. We're here to stay

Things are just starting to get interesting

Bill Zaldonis may be in a jam because he reportedly admitted Kerry never went into Cambodia.

Another possibility: maybe some are backing away from Kerry. I know this would be a long shot, but it would sure be a coup. What if the swifties respectfully contacted the Band of Brothers and asked them if they had any reservations about their involvement with the Kerry campaign? If even one decided to recant, it would be incredibly powerful. Just like what the Boston Herald tried to do to Mr. Oneill, but this time it would be true. I don't have any contact with the core of the swifties, but if someone does, would it be worth it to run this by them? Just a thought.

I believe they are only allowed to talk through the campaign or, rather, the campaign will talk for them. Of course, this does not mean they are connected to the Kerry campaign like the "evil" swiftvets are connected to the Bush campaign.

True Veteran's....members of what you refer to as "Band of Brothers" would never lower themselves to insult and denigrate other Vietnam Veterans.

It is the way it is suppose to be.,

............. What a crock!! ..................

John Kerry in his Senate Testimony 1971 wrote:

They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off
heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up
the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed
villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun,
poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South
Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very
particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this
country.

So accordingly, you are conceding that John Kerry is NOT a "True Veteran" ...!!!

i will never understand that attitude...ever.

that's the silliest thing i've ever heard. Does that go for all professions?

what has made me look up to veterans all my life is that sense of the willingness to give up their own lives for their country and the solidity that comes of having fought honorably.

Kerry betrayed his brothers and helped create their disgusting reception on returning home. His service record is specious at best. and with what he signed up for PHs for i'm inclined to puke all over him. I did more damage to myself trying to pretend I was healthy enough to join the armed forces than he did in combat, so excuse me if I don't necessarily think he deserved to come home after 4 months while no one else came back that early unless they were in a wheelchair or a bodybag.

I count among friends men who served 4-6 years over there...he served 4 months and used paper games to get out.

Families have blacksheep...brothers become estranged. Kerry disowned himself with his actions in vietnam and after.

False. This is an attempt to shut others up who aren't Kerry koolaid drinkers like yourself. Telling the truth isn't denigration or an insult.

I just love the way the Left debates. I.E. Take the talking points and the Party line and follow like a bunch of sheep. If that dont work then deny...deny...deny.....LIE

You left out a a step.

Deny, deny, deny, (and if that doesn't work)

lie, lie, lie, (and if that doesn't work)

"it doesn't matter."

I've already heard the last line used by some.

Still looking for any of the "on the boat" crewmembers to appear on TV or radio

The two appearances by a temporary Army rider {Rassman} have been disasters.

The SBVFT eyewitnesses have been coherent, un-assailable and well received

And so numerous as to be almost embarassing. These guys are becoming heros.

Again

Old legal adage "When the facts are against you, then attack the messenger"

Which is why all we are seeing from the Kerry campaign is obtuse legalese.

Will the "financially feted Band of Brothers" standup and be heard?

Probably not. And this Swift Boat sailor will wait in vain for an answer.

Does anyone know what happened to Ralph Dobson? He used to be the second Kerry supporter shown in the famous photo on the first page of this website, and now it says "unfit" over his image. I read somewhere that he had worked with the Kerry campaign with Skip Barker, but don't hear anything about him now.

It would be interesting to get Kerry's Band of Brothers under oath. I think Rassmun's practiced now, but those other guys, they're just regular guys. I think they would cave very quickly. But it would be sad. Frankly, I suspect that Kerry duped them, too. They, like the SVBs, probably didn't know about Kerry's medals...or thought they must have been awarded for action they weren't a part of...then, later, got swept up in all the hoopla....maybe even thinking it would be GOOD for the country to have a Vietnam vet at the helm...But it would be darn hard to get a consistent story from all of them. Unless they're supoenaed or something, Kerry will keep them buried.

It's probably a long shot, but if anything is likely to break it will come from these guys. Unless they are under lock and key, sooner or later what all you SBVT guys are saying will have to hit a chord with them and they'll have to reexamine their support for Kerry. Personally I would not like to be in their shoes.

McCloud, I feel the same - I am sorry for them.

I wonder what's going to happen with those guys if and when they see the truth? Talk about pain - there's nothing like seeing betrayal from someone who's duped you. It's going to be a triple-whammy for those guys if they ever catch on.
